Somebody joins Erica at the bench.

Erica heard footsteps approaching her bench. Damn it! Didn't they realize that she was potentially suffering from a mental breakdown and hearing voices?

Maybe they'd just keep walking and wouldn't bother her. Leave her to figure out exactly what was going on.

The sound of footsteps stopped moving at the other end of the bench. "Keep moving, keep moving, keep moving," she chanted in my head. Unfortunately, the person did not keep moving, and instead sat on the other side of the bench from her.
