Some training

Smirking to himself, Kostas decided to head for the training grounds. Being a bandit, or at least a former one, he knew the worth in getting in some training, and the monastery had a fantastic set of training grounds, so it would be a stupid waste to not make use of them. As such, he went there as soon as he was done breaking in his new ****.

Picking one of the dummies, he got to work, using an axe far superior than anything he could have gotten his hands on back on his bandit days. But now, as a Knight of Seiros who was allowed to join the order by the Archbishop herself, he easily has access to any food and equipment he desired. While he would have never expected things to turn out this way, Kostas couldn't say he was unhappy, especially with the emergence of this new power, this 'crest' of his, and the abundance of babes he could use it on.

After some time training, however, he got the uncanny feeling he was being watched closely. Attacking the dummy a few more times, he took the chance to look around, to spot his stalker, and found her easily enough, pretending to be attacking a dummy herself with some weird-looking sword. Kostas recognized her easily as Catherine, a fellow Knight who was fiercely devote to the Archbishop. No doubt she questioned his true allegiance and decided to keep an eye on him. Kostas laughed internally as he realized the training grounds were desolate save for the two of them. Unknowingly, the knight had given him the perfect chance to start working his power on her.

Doing a few more swings first, he approached her, intent on taking advantage of the opportunity. Her distrust was clear as day as he came closer, her eyes narrowing.

"Any reason you can't keep your eyes of me?", he asked with a smirk that seemed to only annoy the woman, though she also looked slightly away, no doubt already being affected by his crest. Still, she gave him her response.

"Lady Rhea may trust you, but I am a Knight of Seiros, and I would be a disgrace if I let a dirty rat like you live here at the monastery. So I'll keep my eyes on you, and the second you reveal your true nature, I'll have you out of here. And you better pray to the Goddess that I don't kill you while I'm at it", she responded in a serious tone. Kostas knew this was to be expected, but didn't let himself be intimidated by the blonde woman. His power had already allowed him to convince the Archbishop to let him stay and become a knight after he'd already been arrested. Still, this could prove to be very useful.

"Well, if you want to keep your eyes on me so much, why don't we spar. Right here, right now. No place where it would be harder to hide", he told her, convinced her dedication to being a knight and her love of fighting would work to his favor. With a confident nod, Catherine sheathed her strange sword and grabbed a training one as he fetched an axe.

"Just don't go crying to Lady Rhea if... let's say an accident were to happen", she said in a mocking tone before getting ready to fight.
