Some sort of visual novel

I groan as I see a splash screen for something that looks like a very Japanese visual novel style thing except it seems to be in VR, really good VR, and is that wind on my skin. Also I seem to be in super VR, also I can't alt-F4. I spend about ten seconds contemplating this strange imprisonment inside a video game before I just shrug and try and figure out how to skip all these title screens.

Nothing much seems to work but I do waive my arms about like an idiot until I am presented with a menu.

All it says is "Are you a Boy or a Girl" and I pause at the selection
