Some recollections. Which may be meaningless

Your mind returns to the events of last night. You remember your vivid dream of combat, melting into a dream of sex with Diana. If Clara is to be believed, and you see no reason not to, you dragged her into bed and raped her while you were in the midst of nightmare. The evidence of your sheets supports her story, and you see no reason that she would lie.

But the events seem to stretch credulity. How can you have sex while remaining asleep, not waking even when the girl protested and struggled? You've never heard of anything like it. You hadn't been drinking heavily last night, and besides you've never done anything remotely like that on the occasions when you have.

You suddenly remember how groggy you felt this morning. The stale, sick taste in your mouth, the fuzziness of your head. Can this be related? And if so, what could have caused it? You shake your head in irritation, frustrated by your inability to come up with a logical explanation.

Stepping out of the shower you dry yourself and dress, your mind still turning over the events and coming up with nothing new. You sigh and leave your bedroom, striding towards the door of your office. You have your hand on the knob when you turn and look back at your desk.

You walk back and pick up the small bag that sits there. The one you dropped last night after taking two cookies from it. Cookies from Nurse Wulf. You reach inside and take the remaining cookie, looking at it and sniffing it.

It smells and looks like a cookie.

You have no reason to believe it was drugged, but something caused your dream and the real life events that accompanied it. And who has better access to drugs than the school nurse?

But why would she want to drug you?

Shaking your, head you put the bag and the cookies it contains into a drawer and close it. You stand looking down at the closed drawer, thinking carefully for a few moments before striding out of your office.
