Some pillow talk

After prying Ty Lee off of the both of us and shooing her out of the room Mai and I lay on the bed next to one another, a happy calm settling over the both of us as we lay in what little bit of afterglow we could have in the face of hurricane Ty Lee. With a sigh Mai turned on her side, snuggling into me as she spoke, "So...what was it like...being on the other side?" I was a bit confused for a moment before I understood the connotations of Mai's words, "It was..interesting to say the least." I leaned in a gave Mai a soft kiss, "I can understand why it can be addicting." Mai blushed slightly but said nothing, instead curling into me further with another sigh. "What about for you?" I asked, true curiosity in my tone. Mai was silent for a few moments, simply lying by my side, before she spoke up, "I'd never know the real thing...but I can understand...how difficult it would be."

With that neither of us said another word, instead preferring to cuddle for a little bit longer and enjoy each others presence. However, as time marched on a grumble issued from my stomach, Mai looking up at me with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk, "Hungry?" I chuckled right back at her amused appearance, "after so much exercise, anyone would be." Mai blushed a bit but shook it off, lightly nudging me in the arm, "Oh shut up." After a bit more cuddling we rose from the bed, dressing in our usual clothing and heading downstairs to Ty Lee, unsurprisingly watching a cartoon on the television.

Upon our entrance Mai surprisingly broke from my grasp, grabbing onto Ty Lee's wrist and pulling the surprised acrobat up from the couch. Ty Lee looked utterly confused, and slightly annoyed, at the interruption to her TV time but Mai was quick to remedy that with a few quiet whispers in her ear. At first Ty Lee's expression didn't change when Mai was whispering but suddenly it broke into a huge smile, her eyes closing with the grin as she nodded with every word Mai whispered. Soon enough the two broke apart and Ty Lee grinned at me, Mai showing no outward expression but that spark in her eyes said otherwise.

"Uh...care to share you two?" I asked, my eyebrow raised in curiosity. "Oh no," Ty Lee said, cutting Mai of quickly, "You just head off and take a bath or something alright John?" "Uh..." I began but I was quickly set upon by Ty Lee, her hands spinning my shoulders around and forcing me out of the room and away from the kitchen as fast as she could. When I was a 'safe' distance away Ty Lee giggled and left, leaving me alone in the hallway with a ton of questions...I guess I would take that shower after all...
