Some late night dictation

Lindsay's intercom piped up: "I need you to take some dick...tation. Bring that fine ass in here."

She nearly jumped right out of her seat and into his office to kick his ass, but she calmed herself down - no use blowing her cover now. She took a deep breath, smoothed her hair and grabbed a pad on her way into Cobblepot's office.

Cobblepot was pouring some tea. He smiled at her as she entered. "Can I offer you some?" he said, offering her a cup. "I had it flown in from abroad. Tasty stuff."

Lindsay was so surprised at his sudden nice behavior that she could barely mutter "thank you" before taking the cup.

"Please have a seat," he said as he went back to his desk with his tea, sniffing it like it was the best smell in the world. "Is anything wrong? You haven't tried your tea yet."

It smelled a little funny to her, but she didn't want to be rude. Besides maybe she could get info out of him now that he was being nice...
