Some kind of shrine

You open your eyes but you can’t see anything. It seems you are in a closed room, without windows or anything like that. You move freely and without hurting, maybe the goblins only what you unharmed. By the way your steps resonate; you guess you are in some kind of cave. After walking a few steps, you touch something cold with your feet; water. You frown and try to avoid the water, but it’s impossible, you are trapped in a little island inside a cave.

-Help! Somebody help me!- You scream, hoping someone could save you from this.

Someone laughs behind you. –Foolish child…- With anger you scream at the void.

-Show yourself coward!- Your fists are closed tightly. Then you feel some kind of wind and fires start appearing in torches around the cave. Now, you can see you are in a little piece of ground and you are surrounded by water. In the wall, there’s a statue of some anthropomorphic goddess. No sign of the voice. You start to get nervous and you hear the laugh again.

-How sweet…- You turn your head towards the statue. –Yes indeed, I am the one who is talking.- The voice from inside the statue keeps talking. –Welcome to my domains, insect; welcome to the underworld.- You look ****, you have to find a way out of there.

-Why am I here?!- You shout at the rocks, while you are still looking for that exit.

-You see… A war is coming inside these complex tunnels what we call the underworld; the other creatures who live here want to overthrow me. So, I need a vessel to fight for our place; for the goblins. And you are perfect for that.- A chill runs over your back. –Oh, by the way, there’s no point in searching for the exit, little girl, I control everything inside this room.-

-Shit…- You whisper.

-So, what do you say? You will let me use your body? You won’t die, you’ll fuse with me, and will grant you power beyond the imagination.-
