Some kind of Garden

The mostly naked trip of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ventress strode down the hallway in a triangle formation, Ventress taking the lead with the two knights pulling up the rear. At last they begun to see other figures and cultists again, but now with their disguise they seemed to be paid no mind. It also helped that since they didn’t need to skulk quite as much to get around they could make much greater pace through the temple.

Even so, it felt like a never ending maze.

“I feel like we’re even more lost than we had been before.” Anakin whined quietly, but Obi-Wan still heard his words.

“We’re seeing a lot more of the occupants, so it’s a start.” The Jedi Master countered.

“I know it’s hard for you, Kenobi, but do try not to talk too much.” Ventress whispered in a low hiss. Kenobi opened his mouth to retort, but pressed his lips back together in silent compliance. She was right after all, talking too much may draw attention.

Then again, it’s not like the cultists were quiet. They passed by a few rooms where the sounds moans and ecstasy echoed within. Maybe more than just a few…

Anakin tried to keep his focus ahead, considering the possibility that there were other people being taken and corrupted by this place like Barriss and Luminara had been, like the clones had been, like Ahsoka and Aayla likely were being as they wandered about. His metal hand clenched into a tight fist at the thought

“We should grab one of the cultists for more information.” Anakin suggested quietly.

“Like you tried to do with me, Skywalker?” Ventress replied, glancing over her shoulder.

“Maybe a little less politely. We’re moving faster but all these rooms look the… Same?” Anakin began, but then he saw where they were currently walking to.

There wasn’t a doorway, just another hallway that led into their current chamber, but the constant halls of stone and velvet purple rugs was soon enough replaced by what looked like grass and rows upon rows of flowers. The trio advanced, not wanting to lose momentum or risk looking suspicious, as their bare feet treaded softly onto the grass.

“This is different.” Obi-Wan commented. Anakin rolled his eyes but didn’t dignify Obi-Wans jab with a response.

“Hush, let’s look around.” Ventress responded instead, leading the trip further into the chamber where the trail of grass and flowers quite literally bloomed into a larger chamber full of small hills of grass, flowers, and even entire trees stretched across the room. Looking up, beams of sunlight seemed to rain down upon the waiting plants, as the group was now in the middle of a massive garden.

“Do you think that’s the real sun?” Obi-Wan asked, shielding his eyes as he looked up.

“Probably just an illusion. There’s no way we’re anywhere near the top of this temple.” Anakin responded.

“Perhaps. But then, what is the purpose of this place?” Obi-Wan continued to observe and speculate.

“It’s a place to get in touch with your natural side, of course.” A voice replied, and all three of the **** wielders turned to gaze at who was now speaking to them this time.
