Some Tests

Jaune couldn’t believe this.

A remote that worked on people?! Not just TVs or stereos or other electronic devices. Actual people! If Jaune didn’t witness it with his own eyes, he would never accept this kind of power. But here Weiss was, frozen in mid conversation, unaware of everything going on around her. Feeling hot all of a sudden, Jaune walked up and rubbed her cheek with his hand, when he heard some voices in the distance that made him jump.

SHIT! The boy thought to himself.

They were in a hallway. Sure, it was deserted, but that didn’t mean people wouldn’t show up eventually. Testing the remote in public like this was a bad idea and he couldn’t leave Weiss frozen in time for the world to see. People would notice her acting like a statue. The smart thing would be to unfreeze her and move on, but in his panic, Jaune just wrapped an arm around her waist, lifted her up, and ran toward an empty classroom.

Lucky she was light and he got in without issue, locking the door behind him. Carrying her was like carrying a slightly heavier mannequin. Turning on the lights, he set Weiss in the middle of the room and started to walk around her, examining her.

“She doesn’t seem to be breathing, but when I unfreeze her, she continues where she left off.” Jaune mumbled to himself as he examined his crush. “I’m not sure how this works, but I know I won’t understand it. All I can do is figure out how each button works. Wow, there’s a lot of them.” It had all the normal buttons, but a ton more he didn’t immediately recognize. “Guess I’ll start on the basics for now. Unless you mind, Weiss?” He addressed the last question to the frozen girl. “Don’t say anything if I can test this on you more.”

Of course, Weiss didn’t reply.

“Thanks for the help.” Jaune raised the remote and unpaused her.

-...own skills and not just relying on others.” Weiss finished as if she hadn’t been frozen for a few minutes. “It’s better… huh?” Weiss suddenly realized she was in a classroom and not the hallway. “Weren’t we-...” Her mouth kept moving but no sound was coming out.

During her confusion, Jaune hit the Mute Button and instantly all sound vanished from the girl.

Weiss continued to talk silently, unaware no words were coming out of her mouth. She seemed to be focusing on him and as Jaune tried to hide his laughter, her expression grew angrier and angrier until she almost seemed to be shouting at him. Jaune let her shout until she looked hoarse and then Unmuted her.

“Listen to me you, blockhead!”

“Sorry, I was focusing on something else.”

“What could be so important?!” Weiss demanded. “And how did you get me into the classroom!”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Jaune lied and hit the Sleep Button on the remote since he had an idea what it did. Weiss’ eyes fluttered and then closed. The angry white-haired girl was just standing there, asleep on her feet. Jaune chuckled to himself as he watched her. “Heh, I heard people are grumpy when they don’t get enough sleep.” He hit the Sleep button again and her eyes popped back open.

“Huh, what was I saying?” Weiss yawned and looked like she just got up from a nice nap.

“I don’t know.” Jaune smirked as he lied, and this time hit the Power Button. He wanted to know what the difference would be.

What he didn’t expect was for Weiss to just collapse onto the ground with a thud. Panic ran through Jaune as he ran over and knelt down next to her. He lifted her head into his arm and made sure she was okay. Thanks to Aura, the defensive shield around Huntsmen and Huntresses, she didn’t take any damage during her fall. She was also breathing so she seemed fine.

“Wake up, Weiss.” Jaune lightly slapped her cheeks to see if she would wake up. “Come on, Wake up!” He poked her cheek hard and even stuck a finger in her mouth, but nothing. The girl was out, like a computer without electricity. “Weiss, if you don’t wake up, I’m going to be a bad boy and touch you.”

Being **** due to the remote, Weiss did nothing and Jaune put his hand on her small chest. There wasn’t much there but there was some. His fingers squeezed the soft mound. If she didn’t wake up with him groping her, nothing would wake her up until he hit the power button.

He may have squeezed a little longer than necessary.

“This is insane.” Jaune muttered to himself. “I could spend days playing with this remote. There’s so much fun I could have with this.”

The possibilities were endless and so many attractive girls at Beacon that would never give him the time of day to be targets with his new device. Jaune was a good person, or so he thought, but absolute power always corrupted and now the teenage boy could act on all his desires. This remote has a Rewind option so anything he did to them could be undid instantly.

No consequences.
