Chapter 54 by RicoLouis RicoLouis

"I would but I don't know if my body could take it after last night I am sore." I smiled. I had just repeatedly fucked a tree last night in a field. It was fun but I was paying for it now.

"Ah, I understand completely. Even to those of us elves who have the goddesses blessing are sexually tame compared to the Dryads. "I have something for that." She said grabbing a bottle and brought it over. "You rub this on any place that is sore and you will feel like a new man in a few hours."

"Thank you."

"Take off your clothes and I will do it for you."

"Still trying to get me out of my clothes?" I laughed.

"I could take off mine if it would help." She smiled.

"No. Then I really will end up wanting to fuck you." I laughed.

"The offer stands whenever." She grinned. I let her rub the lotion on me and I headed back into town and made my way toward the castle. When I reached the courtyard I saw a host of men training. Many of them looked my age or younger. Men who had come to join up to fight in the war. I smiled as I went past a row of archers. One or two looked like they had used a bow before. The rest, well they at least had the bow pointed in the right direction.

"Pull back to your chin." I said to one of the guys.

"What?" He asked me as she looked back at me.

"Can I see?" I held out my hand and he handed me a bow. I took an arrow from his quiver. "Raise the bow up, pull back to your chin and look down the arrow. That will be your mark. Don't aim at the target. Pick a spot on your target and aim for that." I said putting an arrow in the targets head. I handed to bow back and he took a shot and hit the target in the chest.

"Better."

"Thanks." He smiled.

"You." I looked at another guy. "When you pull the bow back push forward with the other arm. You will get a lot more power out of your shot. The farther away you can shoot the better. Goblins have shorter bows then we can use so they have less range." He nodded and did as I said.

"What are you doing?" Some old guy came up.

"Showing these men how to shoot."

"That is my job." He gave me a stern look.

"I think you have enough on your plate as it is master at arms, I can vouch for his skill with a bow and arrow personally having seen it when he came to the aid of the princess." A familiar voice said. I turned to see Araseli, the captain of the guard.

"I am sorry I..." the old man said.

"It's okay. Their your men." I held up a hand.

"It's good to see you again." The captain said as she shook my hand. "So what can we do for you?"

"I have something for the castle Apothecary to help with the goblin poison."

"Well, she is probably with the queen right now at a meeting you should come." Araseli lead me up into the main hall and then past the throne room and into a fairly sized room where several people stood around a raised area while others sat around a table with a large map on it.

"We can't get an exact count on the number of goblins but we believe it to be around five hundred thousand strong. With the elves help we have cut off their western advance. We have secured every bridge and crossing along the white river. They still haven't seized much of the northern highlands though many have fled to Highgate to take shelter behind its walls." A grey haired man said. I would say a general from the look of him. He looked like he had seen more then a few wars in his time.

"What of the ogres?" The Queen asked.

"They haven't moved, their biding their time fortifying the castles and forts they took. They claim all they did was take back the land that humans took from their forefathers. They will wait for us and the goblins to kill each other." The general said.

"Our armored cavalry slaughter every goblin force we come across but with those poison arrows not to many of our wounded survive. Even a minor injury can kill a man." A slightly younger man replied.

"My lady, this young man says he has something for that." Araseli spoke up. Every face in the room turned toward me. I came forward and walked toward the queen and bowed before I pulled one of the flowers and handed it to her.

"A midnight Rose. That will cure any poison known to man. It does not normally grow in these parts but we have had a hot wet spring this year. A single pedal would be enough to cure a man." An old woman said as she took the flower and looked it over. I pulled out the others setting them down before the queen.

"You could have made money selling these to an apothecary." The Queen looked at me.

"An apothecary lead me to this flower. She was able to save my life after I was shot with one of those arrows at Stonehills your majesty." I could hear hushed whispers. "I was lucky ones but others have not fared as well as me. This isn't about money for me."

"I want word sent to ever apothecary, the adventures guild, and every tavern in the city. The crown will pay one gold for every flower found." The queen looked at a man near the end of the table.

"Yes my lady."

"Thank you for your continued service to my family and the kingdom. Araseli will see you paid for this." The Queen looked up at me.

"Thank you my lady." I bowed and went back to the captain who lead me out.

"Now where were we." The queen said to the rest of the council as we left the room.

"Well that was bold." A voice said. I turned to see Lady Cassandra.

"Lady Cassandra." I did a little bow.

"Good to see you again. I hope you weren't hurt to bad?" She smiled.

"No, thankfully. The poison was worst then the wound." I shrugged.

"Thankfully you survived both." She said and touched my arm. "I got a letter from the princess. She is doing well though she misses home greatly."

"That is good to hear. If you send a letter back tell her I said hello." I nodded. She excused herself and I followed Araseli. Who lead me back to a walkway over looking the courtyard.

"Here you go." She said and pulled out her coin purse and and gave me some gold and a few silvers to make up the difference. Then she opened the door to a room for me as I was was putting the money in my own coin purse.

"What is this?" I asked stepping into a small room.

"My room." Princess Willow smiled as I entered. "I asked Araseli to bring you here when we saw you in the courtyard. I learned from my cousin you are aware of our customs regarding sex. Araseli told me you know about the priestess blessing?" She smiled and held out her hand toward the table. Araseli closed and locked the door.

"Yes I am familiar." I nodded as I took a seat.

"Normally when a girl receives the blessing she goes to serve at the elder trees. My father would never have let a princess serve at the elder tree." The Princess smirk

"You mean your...?"

"Yes, blessed by the Goddess as my people say though at times it can seem like a curse.. My father couldn't send me away nor could he have me at my mothers side at court so he trained me to be a warrior that I could serve our people as a leader while be hidden from the public eye."

"I am sorry to hear that ."

"It is fine, I have excepted my fate many years ago. While in the elfin kingdom I would normally go to any of the elder trees to sate this hunger." She grinned.

"There is a priestess here in town just..."

"I am aware." She stopped me and I felt her foot brush my leg. "But I am thinking I would like something other then oyster for supper, it taste good mind you but I was thinking of trying a human delicacy. Nice juicy beef."

"You want me to?" I said sounding a little surprised.

"Yes." She grinned slyly."

"Okay." I nodded.

"Do you mind if Araseli joins us? Me and her have a mutual arrangement."

"If you make a joke about adding fowl to the menu."

"Hey you said it." The Princess teased.

"I guess not." I looked at her.

"Good, give me one second." She said and walked over touching a wall. "muri sonus clauderet" She said and I heard silence, I couldn't hear the smith hammering away in the courtyard, the trainees swords clashing. Nothing. "There, now we have a little privacy." The princess smiled. I assumed no one outside could here us neither. She took my hand leading me over to the bed and pulled off her shirt.
