Some Major Changes

Kenny sucked in a long breath as he reached the top of the stairs, the teen had never had such a visceral feeling for a girl before. Rachel and Nicole were some minor want in comparison to this deep desire that had started to awaken in him for Zoey. It didn't make sense, they hardly knew one another, they lived in different towns hours away, and Zoey even said that she may be misinterpreting any feelings she had for him. Kenny made himself remember that there was a decently good chance that Zoey may find that she does not like him.

As Kenny walked down the stairs towards the den, he wondered if he was possibly in the same position. Maybe he was just building these feelings out of nothing more than the hurt from Nicole's rejection. Yet, the teen couldn't help but deny it; this didn't feel like he was trying to fill a void, that was what he just did was Kailyn. And all that did was open his eyes, make he realize that the girl he had been thinking about all day, the girl he kissed, and the girl he made love with was something far more important than the mess that was his relationship with Nicole.

Kenny entered the den, scanning the area, spotting Zoey almost instantly. He felt his throat close up, his stomach dropping as he felt like a complete asshole for fucking Kailyn now. Just one look at Zoey made Kenny fear how she would react if she learned that he had sex with another girl. How would she think of him? What does she think of him now? Kenny easily moved to the edge of the couch, sitting down on the armrest next to Mindy who looked up at Kenny, giving her friend a reassuring smile. Kenny weakly returned it and nodded as Mindy reached out, lightly patting his leg, "Cool, so we're all here then?" Brian asked as he glanced at Kenny,

"Yes, Bry," Rachel sighed, "Now what's up? Who's getting voted off the fucking island?" She joked causing a small murmuring laugh to fill the room,

"Nothing that serious, dear sister," Brian sarcastically reply, "I just think we all need to have a talk about the room situation now that Eric and Zoey are joining us and...things have changed for some of us," Nicole glanced over at Kenny who continued to stare solely at Zoey who tried to keep her eyes of Anna and Eric. "Now, I think it'd make sense that we change around, get ourselves separated into a way that makes sense now,"

"Completely agree," Anna pipped up, "I don't think anyone should feel uncomfortable for the rest of the trip by bunking with someone they don't want to be with,"

"Exactly, so let's start this off simple, is anyone okay with their situation?" Brian asked while looking around,

JJ's hands quickly shot up, "Yeah, I'm still cool with crashing on the couches or whatever, no need to switch that up,"

Brian nodded and he then, unsurprisingly saw his sister's hand raise, "Yeah, yeah, I know, you want a room," Brian muttered,

"Yes, but I'm willing to share!" Rachel offered with a smile while looking around, catching sight of Kenny who's lips pursed and his muscles tensed up, "Nicole...um, did you want to bunk with me?" Rachel asked while she kept her eyes on Kenny in slight confusion,

"In the singles room?" Nicole lightly laughed, "I...guess so," The redhead reluctantly agreed, "I guess so, though I don't see why you don't come and move into my room,"

"We don't need all that space, give it to someone else, C'mon," Rachel smirked,

"Fair enough, Ken, looks like you can have our room," Nicole offered though the teen didn't reply, "Ken, you there?" Nicole smirked,

Kailyn's eyes widened, and she quickly spoke up to protect Kenny from any teasing by the girls, "I can give up my room!" She nearly exclaimed making all eyes shift to her, "Yeah, I...I wouldn't mind cozying up in the library for the rest of the trip," Brian let out an amused smirk and nodded,

"If that room's open can I take it?" Zoey softly asked causing Kenny's eyes to widen for a moment before they dropped in sadness, he half expected Zoey to ask if she could bunk with him,

"I...don't see why not," Brian mumbled back as he gaged the room for a quick moment, "Okay, so for the two masters, we can maybe-"

"Mindy take mine, I'll crash in the rec-room," Kenny grunted out as he stood up and made his way out of the room,

"What? Kenny, what?" Mindy gently asked as she watched her friend silently leave the room with his head hung low,

"Is he alright?" Zoey instantly asked with a deep look of concern, "What did you say to him earlier," Zoey growled out. Kailyn's eyes widened as she thought this question was directed at her only to become more surprised as she found the redhead looking directly at Nicole,

"Huh? What are you even talking about?" Nicole replied while frowning, "And watch the attitude,"

"Hey, enough," Brian sharply interjected, "Okay, Mindy you've got Kenny's room and Anna you've got your old room. Eric, you're with Anna, I'm guessing?" The black haired teen nodded, "Good, and...Mindy, is it cool I bunk with you?"

Mindy's cheeks turned flushed for just a quick second before she smiled, a bunch of dirty thoughts filled her mind as to what she and Brian could get done in a king sized bed, "Totally, I have no problem with it,"

"Sweet, let's all leave this room, calm down and move our stuff into our new rooms." Bria firmly stated while glancing around, giving each of his friends a hard glare, "Got it? No fighting, no drama," The other's silently stared back at Brian for a moment until he nodded and walked from the room, "You should probably talk to him now, I guess Kailyn didn't get through to him," Brian lowly said to Mindy who had gotten up to follow him,

"I was thinking the same thing, he doesn't even look mad now, he looks...depressed of something," Mindy replied with a small shake of her head, "I'll go see him, think you could pack up my stuff from Anna's room?"

Brian let out a soft chuckle, "What, now I'm your servant?"

"No," Mindy smirked back, "Just think of it as a way for you to...familiarize yourself with all my outfits I brought, see which ones you like the best," She explained while stepping away from the teen with a quick raise of her brow,

"Point taken," Brian smirked, "Oh, and tell Ken he can leave our stuff in there, we totally got enough room for it," Mindy nodded and turned around, walking around the first floor, looking for her friend.
