Judging by the posted billboards and advertisements, these aliens must speak utter gobbledygook. Your suspicions are confirmed as you enter the city, and people predictably start running for their lives and screaming in an unrecognizeable language.

Sophie: "Ah, rats! Sorry about all this! I'm uh,... I'm sort of a sore thumb aren't I?"

The aliens look vaguely humanoid, but sufficiently weird that humans would likely look monstrous to them. Their reaction doesn't really surprise you.

Despite acting passively and not making too big of a mess, the police and news crews soon hound you. In order to evade them, you grow larger.

Sophie: "C'mon you guys, I come in peace!"

The aliens yell back something, but you can't understand a word.

Sophie: "You really don't speak English, do you? Uh- ¿Hablas español? Parlais francois or whatever? Hell, I don't know."

Then, somebody important-looking approaches you with a megaphone.

Tenota: "ALIEN CREATURE. I UNDERSTAND YOUR LANGUAGE."

Sophie: "Great! Can you tell the police to go away, uh, I come in peace, and I don't intend any harm I just wanna talk."

Tenota: "I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN DO."

Gradually, the situation is de-escalated and the police retreat. You shrink down to a proportionally similar height to the aliens. The alien who spoke to you before greets you.

Tenota: "Who or what are you, and where do you come from?"

Sophie: "I'm Sophie. I'm a human, and I come from the city of New York City."

Tenota: "New York City? The fabled land of humans? So that is the appearance of humans! Greatly intriguing. I am Tenota, a professor of linguistics. Well, not technically a professor, but the closest equivalent to your concept of a professor. An educator maybe."

Sophie: "It's nice to meet you. May I ask, how do you speak English?"

Tenota: "We have been able to receive radio transmissions from New York for a long time now. Scholars have desciphered a significant portion of your language over the decades, using mostly radio commercials, news broadcasts, talkshows and music. Only a tiny part of our people, such as scholars like myself, can speak it fluently, though."

Sophie: "Neat."

Tenota: "How did you arrive on our planet? We have not been able to discover the source of these radio signals, or New York City for that matter."

Sophie: "Uh... well as you can see, I'm a bit of a special human. I can shrink and grow as much as I want!"

Tenota: "Yes, we have observed so."

Sophie: "This is a bit difficult to explain but... your planet is really small. Like, really, really, really, *really small. Uh... do you know what an atom is?"

Tenota: "Yes, we are considerably advanced in particle physics."

Sophie: "Okay so. I was on my own backyard in New York, and shrank down so much that I was able to see individual atoms. Your entire planet is located on the electron cloud of a single atom."

Tenota: "Oh. Hm... That would certainly explain our shortcomings in astronomy. Our planet has been postulated to have localised laws of physics. If what you're saying is true, this would confirm our suspicions."

Sophie: "Say, you guys seem cool. Maybe I could help you out?"

Tenota: "In what way?"

Sophie: "I don't really know how my powers work but... for some reason my clothes seem to change size along with me. What if... you made me a necklace that the planet could be fit inside of, and I were to grow to my original size? Then you wouldn't be stuck down here all alone. You could probably see the sun and stars, and I could teach you how to receive TV signals."

Tenota: "We should discuss this with our leaders."

You are taken to the President-equivalent of the country, who organizes a summit with the world leaders of this planet, which is called Hiu. After a long and arduous discussion on the matter, you reach the conclusion that the planet should be un-shrunk: If you leave Hiu and grow back to your own size, there's very little chance of you ever finding it again; this would be their only opportunity.

In order to do this safely, a piece of jewelry is crafted into which Hiu may be stored in: a small hollow, bivalved diamond which can be closed and locked from the inside. Careful precautions are made to account for the possibility of gravity, Earthen insects, sunlight being magnified into a hotspot from the diamond, external vibrations, and all sorts of other boring nonsense that you don't understand anything about.

After a week or so, the necklace is finished. Preliminary testing with an ordinary marble confirms that it works - the necklace counts as clothes, and will grow and shrink along with you.

So you grow to the size of an atom and carefully, with guided radio instructions from Hiu, guide the planet into the diamond, where it is held in suspension by aerogel padding. The diamond is closed and locked from the inside, and you are given permission to start growing.

You grow back to your original size within a minute. Then you keep going. Once you reach skyscraper height, you walk into the sea to avoid collateral damage. Had Hiu not been affixed with aerogel padding, the Earth's gravity would cause it to collapse at this point.

You grow to the upper atmosphere. Soon your mass will be so great that it will cause disturbances in Earth's orbit. Hiuan scientists managed to time this growth to account for the optimal placement of the Moon, so that it doesn't crash into you.

Carefully, very carefully, you bounce off from the surface of Earth and into space. Your goal is to match Hiu to the exact orbital velocity, distance and size of Earth, so that the two planets can share the same orbit. The Hiuan scientists meticulously guide you through this process. Once you have the correct size, Hiu releases itself and detatches from your necklace, at which point you rapidly shrink to avoid Hiu colliding into your body.

You land back onto Hiu's surface as a hero, having succeeded in your mission. This leads you to attaining mad pussy of both terrestrial and alien kind. You've singlehandedly doubled the world's economy.

Yet, despite your undeniable status as a heroine to two planets, and possessing overpowered magical abilities, something perturbs you. You keep shrinking down in places all over Earth, and even on Hiu, but never again do you find another shrunken planet. Where did Hiu come from? What were the chances of you specifically finding it and rescuing it, on your own front yard, of all places?

All of this makes you think that there are unfathomable depths of things about the world that simply nobody knows.
