So it begins...

After that date night, Jade and I went on several more dates, started sharing a bed even. I also made a few wishes to help people. General wishes like a wish for no more back pain for women, a formula for a medicine that would help those suffering chronic pain. There were some others but they were mostly minor things like that. Another thing I did was explain to Shiva the truth about my powers, that we were trying to keep the truth as hidden as possible so there would be no risk of someone like Luthor or Joker learning about my ability to grant wishes. She agreed to help us keep that secret, though she did pull Jade aside to talk to her about some things though.

Anyways here we are now about a month later, I'm making as much preparations as I can for whatever threat comes sure. But I suddenly received a message through the system.

Warning! You will soon have to step into the light. While you are more than strong enough to survive and fight back against this first threat, it is HEAVILY RECOMMENDED that you take precautions to hide your identity as best as possible.

Okay so that message has been received. It took a bit of time to figure out how best to handle some form of Identity protection. My advisors were quite helpful with figuring that out actually, as one of them suggested I try getting creative with my elemental summoning. What I ended up with was a mask made of the Dark element, looking much like shadows themselves were covering my face while allowing me to see out of it without issue. An outfit was easy enough to make of course, I certainly could get access to all the material I'd need with relative ease.

Following that I of course went out to test and make sure that my mask wouldn't slip, that I could deal with threats while hidden like this. Some thugs were more than easy enough to deal with even without my summons. The training I'd gotten from the Augmented Reality machine had been of tremendous help, the fact that both Deathstroke and Deadshot had allowed their knowledge to be downloaded into it had made it a far more effective means of training without my powers. During this time I took a little while to distribute my stats from the last training session, I really shouldn't have put it off for so long. Anyways my stats now looked like

Level: 100 Strength: 50 Agility: 80 Endurance: 50 Intellect: 100 Wisdom: 100 Charisma: 100 Libido: 50

My enhanced healing leveled up a bit as well, turns out letting a few thugs try and beat me before bringing in my summons was a quick way to build up pain tolerance and level up my healing further. It only really got skill exp when I reached back to full health though, still the amount it healed was improving not too mention the speed. One other thing my enhanced healing now did was improve the rate at which my stamina recovers, allowing me to fight longer battles more easily.

Encasing thugs in dirt and stone while leaving them for the police with an anonymous tip was usually more than enough. I did spend the remainder of the month using summons to help deal with criminals though, figured it would be better to get used to this quick as I could. At one point I even used Dark Summons to quietly stop a bank robbery and dealt with the would be thieves. I made as many preparations as I could in the meantime, I had a bit more time than expected before the event I guess.

If the system was warning me then there was definitely gonna be a big event, so to make sure I was prepared I spread out as many summons as I could to try and learn as much as possible in advance. The better info I had, the more easily I could help with whatever the situation would be. So prep work was about as well done as it could be, the first shelter was nearly finished and there would be an announcement soon to let the public at large know there was a safe place they could go. Even better news is that the main base was nearly done, and Ultron was already integrating into the main system in order to help with the construction process. Turns out it could connect to and control numerous robot bodies! I had a last few things to take care of, getting the construction process started on the next shelter being one of them. This time it would be in Metropolis. While I was doing that I was informed that I'd be visited by Talia once again, I just hoped it would be before anything dangerous happened.

Thankfully it did end up happening that way, Talia arrived just at the end of the month. We got to have a rather enjoyable discussion for the most part, she'd mostly come to ask about the first event that was coming and I explained that it should be happening any day now. I was interrupted about halfway through by an emergency news broadcast from the TV. "We interrupt this program to bring you this story. President Carter has just returned from space! He is currently on his way back to the white house and has announced that he plans to help usher in a new era of peace." This was accompanied by a new notification moments later, as the TV returned to normal.

THAT made me freeze. I sent out party invites right away, making sure Jade, Shiva and Talia could all see the screen I was. NO one was calm after seeing it. Quiet and controlling themselves? Yes. But calm on the inside? Hell no. Talia's first response was to head back and warn her father that the president should be watched, I informed her that I was watching him as well but we should be careful not to leave ANYONE alone or exposed around him. When asked why, I explained how something was off with him, something was different. I couldn't tell what but there was definitely something that had changed while he was up there in space. "We need to assume that there's something wrong with Carter, that he's either not in control of himself or that that's NOT him. No matter what we need to be extremely careful with what we do next." Talia left after that to warn her father and the rest of the assassin's, ordering Jade and Shiva to try and keep me safe before she left. Now...
