Sneak past

There's no need to fight the monstrous mammal, even with the ease you've dealt with previous enemies.

Following Hadvar's lead, you two creep slowly around the lair of the sleeping bear, the creature being none the wiser to your presence.

It didn't take much longer before you could see the sun shining an exit to the cave.

Finally, after a long trek through a dark, dank cave, you and Hadvar had reached the surface.

Just as you felt the fresh air and sunlight hitting you, another roar shook the ground and the great black dragon flew north.

"Kinsman, I apologize for what happened before. I wouldn't have gotten out of there without you, and you were never intended to be one of the prisoners in that execution, so I'll let you go now. Just don't cause any more trouble, okay?"

You nod in agreement.

"My uncle lives in Riverwood, just up the road. He'll want to know about that dragon. Riverwood isn't in any position to defend against a beast like that. You're welcome to come with me, I'm sure Uncle Alvor would be happy to let you rest at his home for a bit while you figure out what you want to do next."
