Smooth sailing

Thankfully, the trip from her room to the library past without relevant incident. Not that Samus was expecting much in the way of distractions and/or incidents.

As far as she was aware, she and Alya were the only ones here. Even if there was someone else here, the station was so big that it wasn't something that needed to be worried about (hopefully).

"Here we are." Alya cooed as the pair stepped into the library. Samus's gaze shifted to her book. Very much untouched from the last time she had looked at it, that was definitely for the best.

Making her way over, Samus took a seat. Waiting a moment for Alya to follow right behind, she didn't need to wait long for her companion to join her.

Once she had, Samus opened the book and got back to reading. Enraptured by the words once more, the bounty hunter let the book take her in.
