Smoke starts coming out

The whirring started getting more and more intense, with higher and higher-pitched squeals, until eventually it clunked out and fell silent. Dani could feel the seat almost burning her, and she stood up and saw that smoke started coming out.

"Oh my God!" Dani started coughing as smoke filled up the theater. Eventually, the film stopped and the ushers started coming in.

"Everyone out of the theaters! Something's burning!" everyone panicked and rushed out of the theater, including Dani who had luckily remembered her purse.
