Slug it out

The 2 of you bare-chested brawlers lock eyes, inhale, & charge. The crowd rears up & explodes with sound when you collide. You throw a huge punch that rocks her jaw, Fen retaliates with a skull shaker of her own. Then another, then another, a ceaseless pendulum of punches fueled by adrenaline. The thug rides the momentum of each impact & puts it into her own strike. You settle into a pattern: 1 punch, breath, 1 punch, breath. After a dozen or so, you feel yours getting weaker.
