Slow dance... slow burn

“And now, let’s have everyone find a pair and dance to this romantic song with whoever that special someone might be or grab a friend and have some fun.”

Lauren’s eyes darted to the rink as she saw Charlotte smile and turn to Nathan, not even bothering to speak softly as she said. “Want to dance?”

“Sure,” Nathan said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Lauren looked flabbergasted as she was **** to watch as Nathan danced with Charlotte in the center of the rink taking the attention of the crowd as they did. Lauren was absolutely fuming as they twirled. Nathan’s eyes didn’t leave Charlotte’s as the arena went dark and the spotlight was on them. And right there in the middle of the rink, it was hard for Lauren to determine who started it, but all she knew was that they kissed each other. And they definitely didn’t immediate part as they made out right there in front of her. On her date. With her boyfriend. With her enemy. And Lauren could do absolutely nothing as she watched.
