Slow Approach
Approaching the mosque, Carol took it even slower than usual. While the people at this mosque would no doubt be accommodating, that didn't change the fact that it felt like she and Mabelle were intruding any less.
"I guess it's worth a shot." Carol thought as she calmed her mind. Whatever happened, happened (for lack of a better word). Looking over to Mabelle, it was a similar story to her.
Just as they were about to reach the door, a woman in a long-sleeved dress and hijab. Focused on the pair, this was very much what they were expecting and at the same time, not.
"Can I help you two?" the woman greeted, catching both elderly women by surprise.
