Sleep finds you first.

Sharp knocking on his door brought him out of a fitful sleep. I fell asleep?

The knocking continued. Nobody knocked on his door this early in the morning. He checked his phone for the time. 1:00pm. Okay, not so early after all, he thought groggily. How long were we- Jessie! He tripped out of bed and hurried to the door. It had to be her.

Leon flung open the door only to find his mom standing there looking concerned.

Being a mother of two had not done Holly Marshall any disservices in the looks department. She filled out a pencil skirt like no one he'd ever seen. Where Jessie's ass was small and firm, his mother's was large and pliable. The thickness of her thighs improbable, considering her slim waist. Her breasts pushed pleasantly against her gray top, but the size of them couldn't compare to her daughter's.

"You're not Jessie," slipped out of his mouth.

One of her eyebrows raised. "Afraid not. Were you expecting her?"

"Uhh... well, not exactly. We've kinda started talking again and.."

"Really!? That's wonderful news!" She beamed widely.

As far he knew, their mother and Jessie didn't get along. For their mom's part, she seemed to do her best to avoid Jessie, and as for how Jessie felt... He remembered her words when they snuck into her room last night: "I really don't want Mom to know I'm here" Leon had no idea why their relationship was so strained.

"Yeah. Yeah, its been really nice, so far," he said with a content yawn. She didn't need to know about the whole modeling thing. Somehow he had a feeling his mom wasn't quite as indifferent towards that kind of thing as Cammy was. "Why were you trying to bang my door down?"

"Well, you seemed so depressed before you left the house yesterday morning that I couldn't help but worry when I never heard you come home. I wasn't even sure if you were in here." It felt nice to have at least one person who cared about him before the System entered the picture.

"Nah don't worry about me Mom. I'm right as rain! Yesterday started out pretty rough, but I'm feeling much better today," he said, and pulled her into a bear hug.

"What a hug! That's my little trooper. Don't let anything keep you down!" Ahhh, the worst part of any loving parent. Treating their child like a 5 year old no matter what age they are.

They broke contact from each other, and Leon offered his mom a puzzled look. "Wait a sec shouldn't you be at work right now?"

"Am I ever not supposed to be at work?" She sighed. "I told them I had an emergency to deal with at home and that I'd be back to **** my life away for them after I took care of it."

"Oh c'mon Mom! Don't call off work to check on me like that. I don't wanna be the reason you get in trouble at work."

She shook a hand through his hair and laughed. "They wouldn't dare to fire such a hardworking ass kisser. I've got to get back though. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Positive," he replied. "Go give 'em hell!"

His mother laughed and started heading down the stairs. Leon watched her ass wobble enticingly as she went. At the door, she turned and yelled, "I might be late tonight!"

And then she was gone.
