Exhausted from their activities, Janette, Druuna, Mathias and Jared soon reached their limit and fell into a deep, restive sleep in quick succession.

The two guards awoke Janette and Druuna shortly after sunrise and after getting some new clothes, supplies, weapons (a long dagger for Janette and a good, solid club for Druuna) and a morning meal, Druuna and Janette took their leave of the outpost and its (now considerably happier and more cheerful) inhabitants.

Moving northward, the two voluptuous women made quick time to their destination, and soon they found themselves standing at the entrance to a massive complex of buildings. A large blue sign near the entrance had the words "Wheelmart Distribution Center" on it. After all those weeks travelling, and after all they'd been through, the two women had finally arrived. Janette looked to Druuna and Druuna looked to Janette, and they gave each other a quick, encouraging nod. Together, the two women walked forward, into the ruins.
