Which Class?

Skipping class

Glenn stood in front of the mirror, his reflection an unfamiliar yet oddly thrilling sight. The white dress the girls had picked for him fluttered softly as he shifted, the pastel pink lingerie beneath it hugging his body in a way he never imagined clothing could. His face was still flushed from the whirlwind of outfit changes, and he barely had time to catch his breath before Olivia, the ringleader of the girls' swim team, draped an arm around his shoulder.

“You’re not seriously going to class like this, are you?” she teased, her eyes glinting with mischief.

Glenn gulped. “No, I—I need to change back into my clothes first.”

Mia, a petite girl with short black hair, giggled. “No silly that’s not what Olivia meant, you’re already dressed fine but you have none of the proper accessories to go with that outfit.”

His stomach dropped. He had no idea what the girls meant by accessories exactly but he didn’t like where this was going.

“Guess that settles it,” Olivia said smugly. “You’re coming with us.”

Glenn blinked. “Coming where?”

“The mall, of course!” Olivia beamed. “We can’t just send you out looking halfway cute. You need shoes, jewellery, makeup—oh! And way more outfits.”

Panic flickered in Glenn’s chest. Skipping class? Going out in public dressed like this? But before he could protest, another girl, Sophie, was already taking his hand, leading him toward the locker room door.

“Come on, Glenn,” she cooed. “It’ll be fun. Besides, don’t you want something proper to wear?”

That was a trap, and he knew it. But surrounded by their infectious energy—and the reality that his other option was wandering campus in a frilly dress—Glenn sighed in surrender.

“…Fine.”

A chorus of cheers erupted around him.
