If it doesn't, getting in close seems like a terrible idea," she adds and Yulia nods, "yeah I'm inclined to agree. We don't even know if this thing would still listen to Levateinn anyway.

"Blunt weapons underwater... That's a tough one regardless. I don't know if any of us could even effectively wield a blunt weapon underwater, they kind of require the ability to build momentum to deal any damage," Cherchiel notes.

"We can definitely use the scepter to our advantage there I think, use the currents to add momentum to our blows," Yulia suggests.

"In that case... I think combat wise our best plan is definitely everyone else at range, while I try to... I guess punch it to ****," Cherchiel suggests.

"I don't really want you fighting that thing mostly alone," Yulia responds and Isalia cuts in.

"Not to mention aside from Yulia I don't know what the rest of us could even do from a distance," she adds.

"This really is tough... I don't know if we have a winning strategy for fighting it, but I don't have much faith in just... Bluffing our way past it either," Yulia growls, frustrated by their lack of a clear path to victory.

"I'd like to at least try Puppet or the Scepter to bypass this fight, but if we do end up deciding on subterfuge, any such action might hurt our chances at convincing the creature so I don't know if that's even safe," Lri suggests.

"I mean the good news is if it's a goldfish, there's a good chance it doesn't have teeth," Yulia idly mutters, staring at the large creature as it continues to swim around, seemingly waiting for them to do something.

"So if it eats us we just get swallowed whole and digested instead of chewed up? I guess that is a good thing to at least some degree," Cherchiel acknowledges.

"No scales inside..." Goma states thoughtfully and Yulia glances at her.

"We are not considering the possibility of letting it eat us to attack it from inside. I am vetoing that idea entirely," she states quickly.

"With the mention of it having symbiotic creatures inside of it, ending up inside of it probably wouldn't be an easy fight anyway," Lri adds and Yulia hastily nods in agreement.

"So, we're back to two plans... Fighting it or trying to bluff past it?" Cherchiel asks.

"Well I mean part of our fight plan is to get some grenades inside of it, so I guess we do have the one method of attacking it from within that doesn't involve any of us being eaten," Yulia mentions and this seems to be the one aspect that has universal agreement. Everyone likes the idea of feeding it the grenades.

"I doubt it would be hard to get it to eat them, but if two grenades inside it aren't enough to take it out, we'll still have to fight it and I still don't really trust our ability to win that fight," Isalia notes and the rest agree.

"I mean if we open with the grenades at the very least it might hurt it enough to make the rest of the fight easier," Yulia offers and Isalia nods.

"I don't like the word might in that sentence, but you are probably correct," Isalia acknowledges.
