Jaune straightened out his rather unconventional attire as he looked in a mirror, Pyrrha decked out in a red dress, that allowed just a hint of cleavage to show. "Yang and Blake sure seem to be taking their time," Pyrrha remarked.

"They're probably just having fun before coming to change back into their dresses," Jaune grinned. "Shall we?"

"Of course!" Pyrrha said brightly, and took his hand, and they quickly headed towards the main hall where the dance was held.

They arrived, and a good number of students were already there. "Ugh... How do you fight in these things Weiss?" Ruby was asking, clearly struggling to get used to some high heels she had on.

"Seriously, why did I let you talk me into coming to this dance with you?" Weiss moaned.

"Huh, you actually seduced her, eh Ruby?" Jaune teased as he and Pyrrha approached.

"Ah, hey Jaune!" Ruby grinned. "Weiss and I were just about to head over and get ourselves some punch!"

"Sounds good, I think we'll join you," Jaune grinned, and they hurried over to get refreshments. Just as they finished getting cups, two more people entered the hall, and Ruby turned to look, and stared... Then her cheeks puffed out, and she put her hands over her mouth, shuddering, clearly trying valiantly to hold back a laugh.

Jaune raised an eyebrow, and turned, and witnessed the glorious sight of Yang in the dress he was making her wear, grumbling as everyone who knew her personality was either surprised, or laughing at her. "Oh my gosh Yang!" Ruby cackled once Yang and Blake reached them. "What happened? Put off buying a dress until the last minute!?"

"...as a matter of fact, I have to say that that's exactly what happened..." Yang grumbled, looking away. Naturally, this had Ruby collapsing backwards, laughing in much the same way she had at Jaune when she recalled his Pumpkin Pete hoodie. Jaune and Pyrrha were also giggling at Yang's expense, and even Weiss cracked an amused smile. And of course, Ria had popped in through the ceiling, and her sense of humor is well known by this point, so it really wasn't hard to guess that she was pointing and doing a damn convincing hyena impression.

"You really ought to be more diligent when it comes to such things, Ms. Long," Ozpin remarked, reaching the group, a faint look of amusement on his face. "Putting things off like that is a shortcut to some rather embarrassing consequences. On the positive side, I'm sure this will be a night you will remember," he quipped, getting another snigger from Ruby, and a rather deadpan look from Yang.

Ozpin then paused, and looked right up at the ceiling, seeming confused, and Jaune blinked as he noticed, and looked up as well, **** on his punch as he saw where Ozpin's gaze led, right to Ria. Ria froze and looked at Ozpin, and for a moment, it looked as if the headmaster could actually see her.

Ozpin shook his head, and noted, "How peculiar... I could have sworn I saw something on the ceiling..."

"Hmm, interesting," Ria mused to herself. "Seems the magic he has left is potent enough to allow for a very limited perception of me without touching the Note... Wonder if he'd be able to see me outright if he didn't give it all away... Might pay Salem a visit to test out that idea... Could be fun to screw with her a bit..."

Jaune did his best to cover up his relief that Ozpin didn't actually seem able to see Ria, though he wondered what it meant that he could somehow seem to have a vague sense something was there. Questions he decided to leave for later. "Oh, Professor Ozpin!" Ruby suddenly said, standing up. "Could you settle a bet for me?"

"That would depend on what that would entail Ms. Rose, but I shall hear you out," Ozpin gave Ruby a small smile.

"Well, you see, we were talking hypothetically a while back, about how the teams would be different if Yang and Blake were in my team instead of Ren and Nora, and I guessed what our name would be, but everyone else thinks I'm being ridiculous. So... Out of curiosity, what WOULD you have called us?"

"Oh, THIS again?" Weiss shook her head. "Give it up Ruby, there's now way you're right!"

"A good question Ms. Rose, and I must admit, I did have some planned out for a few combinations... For that hypothetical team... I do believe I would have gone with calling you Team RWBY, spelled R, W, B, and Y," Ozpin remarked. Silence. "...based on all of your reactions, I think it's safe to say Ms. Rose won the bet," Ozpin remarked with some amusement.

"Called it!" Ruby cheered, jumping up, forgetting she had next to no balance in her heels. Three guesses what the end result was, the first two don't count.

"...ladies and gentlemen, my team leader," Weiss groaned, gesturing to where Ruby laid prone.

"I can't believe she was right though... And thus, the final nail has been put in the coffin of my pride..." Yang groaned.
