Skip forward to after the mission

The mission went off exactly as it did in the original show, with a naked exception of course, but what happens when it's over, and Naruto suddenly can't find or remember where Hinata's clothes are?

After 3 hours of looking desperately, Naruto and the rest of team 8 were **** to give up. This was a mission after all, and missions had deadlines. Hinata's nudity was a helpful distraction to the enemy (and to be honest, her teammates too) but she had only agreed to stay naked for the mission. She couldn't go home like this! Naruto felt terrible, he ,although happy her nudity was extended, didn't want everybody to see her. It was his fault her clothes were lost in the first place.

Although her nudity was a still a HUGE deal for Hinata, Naruto was already re-focused on how he had failed to find Sasuke again. Hinata was a different story however, She was covering up what was left of her modesty in absolute shame.

Spending a few days naked did nothing to help her esteem. She was crying silently in the back. What would she do? She wasn't going to march plainly in the streets, her teammates had no clothes to spare, and she couldn't go home stark naked or her clan would disown her. She felt doomed.

Three more days of traveling without a stitch on, Team 8 was nearing Konoha, and Hinata was no closer to finding a solution that didn't humiliate her. She had begun to get distracted by her environment too, not only had she been getting suppressed glances from her teammates for the last 72 hours of travel, but her feet were sore beyond belief. The trail was not meant for shoe-less travel.

They would run into other people on the path too, and her teammates being her teammates, saw no reason to conceal themselves if there was no danger. Hinata felt like she was display for the world to see. with only her arms to protect her bits from the weather and peering eyes.

Hours later, and they could see the main gates into Konoha. They kept getting closer and closer until Hinata saw with mortification that someone was waiting for them at the gate.
