Skee-ball

Andrew was the skee-ball champion of the arcade with the highest score, and so naturally gravitated towards it. “Skeet-ball is like, super fun!”

“Skee-ball it is then!”, Brian cheerfully replied, the joy of being on a date radiating through every pore.

Andrew wondered if he could beat his high score again today, but unfortunately, he would find his performance to be lacking.

His nail extensions prevented him from getting a good grip on the balls easily, greatly reducing his rate of throw, and Brian beat him easily, collecting a mound of prize tickets.

Andrew managed to hide his disappointment, complimenting Brian on his supposed skill. “Omigawd, you’re like, so good at this game!”

“Why thank you very much!, what would you like to play next?”, asked his chuffed date.
