Six Miericorde

A short knife, often used to cut through the chinks of armor a person had in the armor to reach the more important bits. They were also often used by infiltrators and common foot soldiers to either duel an opponent at close combat, or quickly take out an opponent when they weren't watching since it is fairly simple to hide this small blade. In a pinch, you can also throw these knives to catch a person off guard or take them down if you have good enough aim and their close enough. Cramped spaces also aren't really an issue with this weapon. These misericorde can can also be used for making quick punctures in something or picking a lock. Also comes with a pair of straps that you can use to fasten them around your thigh or combine two straps to hold them on your waist instead.

The main downside of this weapon is their short range. Any sword or spear will greatly outclass your reach, and the only real way to get past this is to get close enough that their range becomes an issue instead. Throwing them implies that you have to collect them again later on unless you are willing to give one of them up. Finally, you can't get a lot of strength into one of these knives, and to block a lot of blows, you might need to use both hands and two knives at once to block a strike.
