Sit next to Chris. (JP) (U)

Sitting next to Chris, you hear him start talking to you. "Holy shit, what a fucking day," Chris says. He then looks at Jeff, who looks worried. "I can't believe you punched Jason’s face!" Chris says excitingly.

"Holy shit Jason is so gonna kill me after this." He says while looking at his bruised fist.

"Don't worry about it Jeff, he got what he deserved," Valerie says while patting Jeff's back.

"Dude fuck that guy," Donna says pissed about what happened.

You finally speak up. "Thank you, guys, for sticking up for me." You say looking at your friends. They all smile back at you, "We got your back any time Ash." You hear Jeff say with pride.

"Anyways, we didn't expect you to actually go through with dressing up" You hear Valerie say to you.

"That's what I told them in class!" Jeff says adding in.

"Well, next time tell me it's a joke then," You say pouting your lips.

Chris laughs at this and pats your back. "Buddy it was pretty obvious we were just messing with you. Do you actually think we're serious? For god sake we were joking around about making Jeff wear a dress."

"Well, here I am now, dressed like a girl." You say rolling your eyes annoyed.

"Yeah, I can tell," Valerie says making fun of your situation.

"Hey at least you look good in the dress though," Jeff chimed in cheerfully.

"Jeff you need to stop being a simp," Donna says reacting to what Jeff says. Jeff hearing this tries to defend himself but it turns into a spew about how traps aren't gay.

You can’t help but smile a bit and see normalcy within your friend group. But then you notice Chris looking at you with a smile, almost like he was waiting for you to be happy.

Seeing this you call him out. "What? Is there something on my face?" You say a bit concerned.

Chris laughs a bit and scratches his neck, he knows he has been caught staring. "I'm just glad that you're back to normal, being happy again." He says gently while looking at you with a sincere smile.

This made your heart flutter a bit, as you can't help but smile even more. Then you hear the lunch bell ring, you say goodbye to your friends and prepare to head into class with Valerie.
