Sit next to Chris. (C)

You decide you wanted to sit next to Chris. He seems happy that you chose him. "Hey Ash, what did you bring to eat?" He asked you. "Nothing, to be honest, I wonder if I can eat you." You say winking at Chris.

Chris immediately pretends to barf. "Dude don't do that ever again.

Both Donna and Valerie hearing this burst out laughing. "Holy shit this has got to be the best day ever," Donna says cackling.

"What? Sometimes you need to give Chris a taste of his own medicine." You say proud of yourself. "Guys let's just talk about something else..." Chris says tired.

"Let's talk about how Ash is a crazy person who’s actually going through with the joke," Jeff says adding in.

"Yeah, and guess what I'm enjoying this joke." You say confidently

Chris laughs at this and pats your back. "Yeah, we can tell seeing how you want to get handsy with certain people."

"What the fuck Chris?" You say rolling your eyes annoyed.

"Come on Ash don't pretend you're not acting like a slut right now," Valerie says adding along.

"Hey at least Ash didn't come back pregnant," Jeff chimed in cheerfully.

"Jeff, that's simply not possible," Donna says reacting to what Jeff says. Jeff hearing this tries to defend himself but it turns into a spew about male seahorses carrying babies.

You can help but smile a bit and see normalcy within your friend group. But then you notice Chris looking at you with a smile.

Seeing this you call him out. "What's so funny?" You say smiling back at him

Chris laughs a bit and scratches his neck, he knows he has been caught staring. "I'm just glad that you're back to normal, being happy again." He says gently.

This made your heart flutter a bit, as you can't help but smile even more. Then you hear the lunch bell ring, you say goodbye to your friends and prepare to head into class with Valerie.
