Sister catch up

Maki grins widely as the elevator to her penthouse dings, squealing as her blonde, petite sister steps out of the elevator, looking startled as her sister rushes to her and picks her up in a bear hug.

“Ahhhh!” Anya yelps as she’s lifted off the ground, dropping the small suitcase of clothes, Maki keeping her arms pinned sings her side to side.

“Awwwwww little Anya!! It’s been way too long!”

Maki places her down and Anya chuckles awkwardly as she takes a step back to recenter herself, “When did you get so touchy?” She asks with a small laugh, already blushing, the feeling of her half sister’s breasts lingering against her chest.

“That’s the first thing you say to me! I’m hurt.” Maki grins, putting an arm around her sisters neck and practically dragging her through the apartment, giving her a run down of the layout and the view.

“Wow, Maki, this is amazing, why do you even leave with these kind of view?” Anya asks, her green eyes sparkling as she looks over the cities skyline.

“Well, I wouldn’t want to stay cooped up all the time.” She responds, tightening the straps on her robe.

“With this view, I would.”

Maki giggles and gives Anya’s ass a slap as she turns and motions to her to follow, “I guess you haven’t changed that much!” She laughs.

Anya follows her, “It’s only been a year… Not even.”

“Oh, mum says, Hi. She wanted me to tell you that she’s very proud of you.”

Maki scoffs, sitting down on the couch, patting the spot next to her, which Anya gently sits herself down in, “She still feels awkward talking to me?”

“Can you blame her?” Anya asks softly, her eyes turning sad.

“I guess not.” She groans, putting her feet up on the coffee table and leaning her head back, “I’ll call her later.”

“Good idea.” Anya says, immediately perking up.

“You manipulating little shit.”

Anya cocks her head, eyes wide and innocent, “Whatever do you mean?”

Maki lets it go, rolling her eyes she turns to face Anya, “I’m really happy you’re here. I know we said a week but I hope you decide to stay longer.”

“We’ll see…” Anya looks around, as if looking for something, “Is Erik here?”

Maki shakes her head, feeling a rush of warmth going through her, “Nah. I thought just us two for tonight, Chicks, no dicks.” She smirks.

Anya seems almost disappointed, Maki clocks that she seems to turn off a little bit, her stright posture curving a little bit, sinking into the couch, kicking off her flats and mirroring her sister by putting her feet on the coffee table. Maki’s jaw tightens involuntarily.

“Oh, smart, feminine energy only.” She giggles extensively at her lame joke, Maki just watches her, smiling softly that little Anya still has her cutie personality.

“Speaking of him, he’s really had a glow up, hasn’t he?” Anya says, looking away from Maki, a hint of colour finding her cheeks.

“Yeah… His girlfriend has really forced him out of his shell.” Maki tries to not think about exactly how much she’s seen him grown.

“Oh yeah, she’s so pretty… Have you met her?” Anya asks, the upbeat energy that was boiling over earlier has cooled to an uneasy simmer.

“Not yet. Schedule’s haven’t really lined up.” Maki says, “I was planning on meeting her at the opening night, but I’ve seen pictures, and yeah. Unreal. It makes you wonder how he bagged her, and why he even looks at other girls.”

{Osis}’s eyes widen, praying that she didn’t just expose her step brothers proclivities, and to her relief, it seems Anya fixated on her earlier statement.

“Don’t be mean! Erik was quiet and reserved but he was always a good looking guy!” She argues back, a bit too passionately, a bit too quickly.

Maki laughs, but she feels unsure, almost as if having Anya here won’t be as helpful to her as she thought.

Anya looks out towards the balcony, taking in the skyline from a distance, the sun starting to set.

“He looks at other girls… Will he… Finally. Look at me? Like a woman?”
