Chapter 3 by AbsoluteZero AbsoluteZero

What species does Suzy choose from?

Siren

A flying, monster girl that had the ability to coerce or brainwash with their voice? Suzy jumped on that so fast. She knew leveling up her character would be a bitch down the road, but once she became a boss or even a mini-boss, she knew that she would be a **** to reckon with.

Plus, she could mess with Jake however way she wanted. The troll could get trolled and she was completely for that.

After customizing the monster to resemble her own self -she wasn't conceited, just into self immersion- she looked over her choices. Long, dark brown hair that went past the character's ass with a golden tan and large tits and ass. And the wings were massive and matched her character's hair. Everything seemed pretty up to par. That is until the opening cutscene detailing the mountains the Sirens resided on was interrupted by a strange prompt.

"This game is better experienced through VR. Would you like to initialize VR gameplay? Headset not required."

Suzy cocked her head to the side. Headset... not required? How was that possible?

Shrugging it off, seeing as any crashes or bugs that were irreparable might get her her money back, Suzy allowed for it to happen. Only for something strange to happen.

The screen read: "This setting cannot be reversed. Please confirm" but didn't give her the option to cancel. **** to confirm, Suzy did one more time.

The screen began to warp and a loud screeching noise permeated through her head. She wasn't sure what was going on, but all she wanted was for it to stop. She tried turning her speakers off, but that didn't work. She tried shutting her monitor off, but that didn't work. Before she went to completely shut off her computer, she felt her vision grown blurry and eventually into darkness. The experience appeared to be too much for her.

"Suzy? Suzy, wake up!"

Suzy groaned as her consciousness came back. Opening her eyes, she allowed her vision to readjust to her surroundings before finally settling on the night sky above her.

"Ugh... When did I go outside?"

"You still haven't, babe."

Suzy looked around and saw a very large person standing next to her. His skin was a dark greenish tint and he was ripped with muscle. It was clear that he was an orc, but not a full one seeing as he had human hair. Black, spiked human hair.

"Wait, wait... Jake?" He always had that hairstyle in every single game they played together. And he called her "babe."

"Glad to see that the VR thing didn't mess with your head. But fuck..." He looked around them as he spoke, almost as if he was expecting trouble.

Suzy tried to stand up, but found herself falling backwards due to the extra weight on her back. The wings were a lot heavier than she would have expected.

But they did solidify what Jake's words obviously meant. The VR acceptance into the game only meant that they themselves were in the game.

"I don't understand. How are you here? Why are we here?" Suzy tried to keep herself from panicking as she tried to test pain in this world, only to see that, yes, pinches do still hurt. So she wasn't dreaming, at least.

"Well, I had originally added you on the server after denying the VR thing. When I went to add you as a party member and you didn't reply, I looked up what character you made and headed to the Siren starting point. But it kept bugging me to try the VR thing. And so... here we are."

Jake looked back over at her. "I'm at Level 5 now, though. So let me tell you, fighting here actually hurts. And the monsters are not family friendly."

Suzy heard a noise from a bush nearby and felt herself immediately shift towards Jake. "Family... friendly?"

"Yeah... I got here just in time. Some weird fiend was trying to rip your clothes off. And some human cleric tried to seduce me when I went to ask for directions."

Jake pulled out his double handed axe as he explained things to Suzy while eyeing the bush as well. "Oh yeah. Humans aren't friendly here. Because you know..."

"We're monsters," they said simultaneously.

Before anymore conversation could commence a party of human bandits appeared from the forest. Unlike Jake, they had no username hovering over their heads, so they were obviously NPCs. But that didn't mean that they didn't look formidable.

"I know you don't have any weapons, but you have a mean right hook. Punch them if they get past me." And without another word, Jake rushed forward in his giant, orc form and began fighting the bandits. Three of them total seemed perfectly plenty for Jake to handle, but at the same time, he looked like he had already been tired when she woke up.

Should Suzy attempt to help or stay in the back?
