Sir Garret is dead under suspicious circumstances

The Messanger handed you a letter sealed with the Loon family crest. You excuse yourself from overseeing the nobles training to go read the letter in private. You give orders that not even Butrexx or Sarah are to disturb you. The Letter reads as below:

My Dear King Bryce,
I have grave news. Sir Garret, his accompanying soldiers and my husband are all dead. Killed by a demon who had taken my from as there own and kept me as their prisoner. Sir Garret did, however, manage to mortally wound the beast just as it changed back into my from thinking he was dead. I will send the bodies of your fallen men back to your castle but the demon's body looking exactly like me has already been burned. I have returned peace to my kingdom. I will keep you informed on this matter as best as I can with you venturing off to foreign lands.

You are harrowed by the loss of your loyal knight and your men. You are shocked to hear that a demon had been terrorising the people of Luxem disguised as the Countess. You ponder what would have happened if you had gone yourself. You find it odd that no one survived the encounter with the demon and that it would return to the form of the Countess if it suspected them all to be dead but before checking that fact. You examine the handwriting of the letter and find it to be sloppy. This may just be due to the Countess having been held prisoner by the demon.
