Sir Cassius comes to rescue her.

Guards came into Elise's cell. Elise taken to another cell and tied to a table. Two guards came in, holding paddles.

Elsie yelped as tears formed in her eyes.

"Stop this!" she screamed.

At the end of the paddling, Elise was still sobbing. She was fell tied up in the cell.

Elisa was visited in her cell by Sir Cassius, a knight loyal to her father's memory.

"Princess Elise, we're here to rescue you"

Cassius unlocked the cell doors and wrapped Elise in a warm cloak.

"This will be dangerous"

Elise shivered as the cape was draped over her slender shoulders and tied round her neck.

"I'm sorry that's all I could find for you to wear"

"No, I'm grateful, kind sir"

Cassius took Elise out the dungeon through a secret passageway that was created in case the castle was ever sieged by enemy forces. More knights were waiting.

"Your name is now Maria, you're a commoner bastard child of a fallen knight"

"You can stay here until Edward is overthrown"
