Simple meal, complex conversation

A few hours later, you’re cooking up a simple dinner of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, when you hear the bathroom door close. Hearing the shower turn on, you assume that Emi has recovered, and make a couple extra sandwiches for her. Lili is relaxing at the table, watching you cook, and seems content for the moment.

You set out a platter of sandwiches, and give the smiling harpy a bowl of soup. Eagerly, she snatches a sandwich, eating voraciously as always. You chuckle, sitting down yourself. At the same time, Emi comes shuffling out of the bathroom, her hair still damp. She looks tired, but still smiles at you.

You look her up and down. The cat girl is dressed comfortably now, in a loose fitting pair of pajama pants and a tank top, but still as beautiful as ever. She sits down at the table, and you slide a bowl of soup over to her. Emi smiles, nodding her thanks.

You chuckle. “How are you feeling, Emi?”

She pauses for a moment, then shakes her head. “Well…I don’t think I’ll be drinking again any time soon…”

Lili giggles. “Aww, but you were fun-fun!”

Emi smiles at her. “I enjoyed the feeling, and what happened, but…my head hurts now.”

You nod. “That’ll happen. Make sure you get plenty of water.”

Emi nods back. “I will, thanks.”

You smile at her. “So, other than the headache, you had fun?”

Emi smiles, slurping her soup before answering. “If you’re asking if I enjoyed the sex, I think you know the answer, my love.”

You laugh. “I do indeed. You were very assertive, it was fun.”

Lili nods. “You really cut loose, yes-yes! More naked time is good-good!”

Emi bites her lip nervously. “It wasn’t too much? I didn’t make you think badly of me, did I?”

You shake your head. “As Lili said, it was fun, and different. Don’t worry.”

Lili bounces in her chair. “Yes-yes! You can cut loose sometimes, ok-ok?”

Emi looks relieved. “Thank you. I might do that, Lili. Sometimes.”

The three of you go back to eating for a while. As always, you’re amazed by how much the two petite women can eat. You assume it’s again somehow related to their Hybrid metabolism, but maybe Sam will be able to shed some light on that when she comes over. With that in mind, you explain to Emi and Lili what the plan is. To your surprise, they both seem happy to have Sam over for dinner, though Emi is slightly more reserved about it.

When you ask why, Lili answers immediately. “Because she’s pretty, yes-yes! And I think she likes-likes you, Andy!”

Emi nods. “That’s part of it. And she can tell me more about myself, since I’m clearly not the same sort of Hybrid as Lili.”

Emi coughs, and grimaces. “Not to mention my coughing.”

You nod. “I suppose so. But if she really is interested in me, then what? I already have both of you, wouldn’t it be wrong to pursue anything with her?”

Lili shakes her head. “I don’t think that’s how it works, no-no. The more love you give, the more you have, yes-yes?”

Both you and Emi stare at the little harpy for a moment. While Lili isn’t exactly stupid, that’s a surprisingly insightful comment for her. Of course, she immediately follows up with a comment that suits her completely.

“Besides, I want to see her naked, yes-yes! She’s sexy-sexy!”

All three of you laugh at that. Lili is Lili, and that’s what makes her so cute. Having settled things, you all go back to eating. Part of you still wonders at the enthusiasm they have towards including Sam, but you figure if there’s a problem, you’ll hear about it.
