Sight "See"-ing

IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN:

John and Lani turn a corner and finally reach their destination as Lani goes, "Ta-da! The Seers Den, finally! Now c'mon, not a second to waste!".

John chuckles at Lani's enthusiasm as the duo head inside the doors, entering the "den".

THE SEERS DEN:

John and Lani head inside the Seers Den and take a look at the shop, seeing dream catchers hanging from the ceilings. Crystal balls litter the shelves and wooden chimes gently sing their song as the faint breeze flows through them.

The duo continued forward, examining every shelf and glass case. The two become easily distracted by the trinkets and a few moments later, they hear a voice from behind that says, "It has been a long time since I met with a guide and her companion".

Lani and John turn around and see a beautiful dark-haired woman with runes covering her body.

John is stunned by the gorgeous woman, as he gazes upon her, he thinks himself, "Man, is this place mostly women? Cause I won't argue if so".

John's thoughts are interrupted as the Seer says, "If you two would like to come with me, I shall be happy to give you a reading, for a price of course".

Lani and John then agree as the Seer says, "Good. Now, come with me".

The duo then begin following the Seer as they walk past the counter and walk through a doorway into a dark room with a small round table in the middle. The only light source in the room is the Seers crystal which seems to be pulsing with energy. The Seer then takes a seat at one side with Lani and John taking their seats at the opposite side.

As the trio sit down, the Seer says, "Now, before I can look into your future, I must ask a few questions beforehand. First; do you agree to witness potential events in your future that may or may not be what you expected?".

John simply nods before the Seer continues, "Okay, second; if my prediction isn't to your liking, no blame can be passed onto me as I do not create these visions, I only show them. If agreed, you give me permission to mark you with Seers Blight which brands you as an enemy to Seers if you get violent with myself, do you agree?".

"I agree" John responds.

The Seer nods before continuing once again, "Lastly, to show you your future, I must draw blood from your index finger to connect your essence with the crystal. Do you consent to me drawing your blood?".

"I consent" John states and the Seer smiles.

"Great. Now, let me draw the blood, and we shall begin".

Just then, the Seer pulls out a small ornate dagger, seemingly customized for this sort of work. John then gives his hand to the Seer, and she takes it, turning the hand to face the palm upwards before making the small incision on the index finger.

The Seer then turns his hand, facing the crystal once again, making a droplet of blood drop onto the crystal.

Just then, the crystal begins pulsing faster than before. This slightly worries John but Lani eases the worry as she explains, "Don't worry. The crystal is just syncing with your essence".

John takes a sigh of relief as the Seer says, "Yes, it can be nerve-wracking for your first time, but do not worry. The crystal is almost like a dream, just without the sleep part. You shall be fine".

"Thanks, I was kinda worried it would hurt" John states.

This earns a chuckle from the Seer who responds, "An understandable worry, Mister...?".

"Doe, uhh, John Doe" John blurts out.

The Seer is now intrigued as she says, "Hmm, a strange name, even in this strange land. If I may ask, where are you from, John?".

Before John can even answer, the crystal gets even brighter which causes the Seer to say, "Ahh, time for that later. Now, relax and look deep into the crystal, my dear".

John then does as the Seer asks and relaxes himself as he gazes into the bright crystal. The light begins filling his eyes and he begins to feel, almost drowsy.

His head now begins to spin as the bright light over takes his entire vision, and then, an image begins to appear...
