Show Me A Sign

Jade studied the signs. She notices there were little notches in the post with symbols she innately recognised as N, E, S and W. Cardinal directions. The signs pointed in ways that matched those directions.

North:

"Tower of pleasure"

"Arch-Wizard Malick ahead you have been warned"

East:

"Beware of Dragon"

"Silverstone Forest."

South:

"Maze of the Minotaur"

"Gate of Realm’s"

West:

"Welcome to the kingdom of Sevastopol remember to visit our world famous **** market"

"Beware of goblins"

Jade frowned at the signs. None of them really stood out as a way home or places she knew. Then again she had a feeling still that she was no longer on earth let alone her own dimension or world. So what did she expect? A map right home? She had better pick one though. Annoyingly, none of them had distances marked on them so she would have to go with something.

The north one mentioned a tower. That had to have people at it, right? Maybe they could help her. And something about magic as well. She was pretty sure magic got her here. So maybe it was the way home?

The east one warned of a dragon. That sounded dangerous and scary. It also seemed to be the path that led back closet to the way Jade had come. So that must have been the forest she was in, Silverstone. She wondered where it got that name from.

The south one mentioned a maze and a Minotaur. It did not take a genius to work out what she could expect that way. But also something about a gate to other realms? Maybe one led to her realm and back home?

The west one mentioned a kingdom. Sevastopol. That was sure to have people. She also noticed it had **** markets. Who or what did they enslave? Creatures? Humans? People? If the latter, what kind of people? The thought alone scared her but also the mention of goblins. Now if her video game knowledge was on point she knew they could be a pest in most fantasy games or damn right blood thirsty.

Minutes passed and Jade had still not figured out just where to go. The voice seemed to grow tired of her standing about, so it spoke up…
