Shotzi's Choice (Bra and Panties Match)

A graphic displaying the NXT Women’s Championship pops on screen to indicate this as an official championship match. Once it fades away, left standing in the ring is Candice LeRae and Io Shirai. The camera pans over to the balcony where the green haired Shotzi Blackheart, dressed in an all red latex jumpsuit with red horns to appear like a devil like creature.

“One last time, I spin the wheel and make the final deal!” shouts Shotzi as she does as she said and spins the giant wheel. The wheel clicks as it speeds past each of the little nubs, slowing down with every hit. Finally it stops on the slot of Shotzi’s Choice! Shotzi turns her head towards the ring and the two competitors whose fates are now under her control.

“The two of you… your attires are all so fancy… I think the fans would prefer… bras and panties!” Shotzi announces! Candice has a look of disgust at Shotzi’s choice of match type. Of course that little green haired troll would want something degrading like this, Candice thinks to herself. All the mention of bras and panties does for Candice is bring her back to last year, when Dakota Kai gave her a concussion from a shot to the head from a knee brace. Then to add insult to injury, Dakota stripped Candice down to her underwear while she was knocked out.

Io, on the other hand, has hands-on experience in this type of match. She actually beat Dakota Kai last year on the road to WarGames 2019 in the first ever Bra and Panties match in NXT history. Now, it looks like she will be competing in the second one too! A woman hasn’t been stripped of her clothing since March of this year, when Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai fought inside a steel cage. Mr. Regal even put in place a rule against stripping, so how can this match be taking place?!

Candice doesn’t even want to think about the consequences if she loses this match, so she goes to strike Io before the bell even rings! Io scouts the attack and dodges the punch, before connecting with a kick to the midsection of LeRae. LeRae bends over from the hit, gets her hair grabbed, and then is tossed out the ring over the middle rope. Candice spills on the protective mats outside the ring and tries to catch her bearings.

She begins to stand up and looks up to see the haunted graveyard where zombies appeared earlier this evening. LeRae turns back towards the ring and ends up getting hit with a suicide dive by Io Shirai! The NXT Women’s Champion does get back to feet, and actually starts grabbing her right knee. She slaps her hand against the mat in frustration, meanwhile a replay starts to play in a picture-in-picture frame. It shows Io’s dive and, slowing down, shows her planting her right foot and the knee buckling.

The referee climbs out the ring to check on Io to see if she will even be able to continue. She ignores his question about if she wants to continue and pulls herself up with help from the edge of the ring. With her mind focused on her knee, Io gets caught from behind by Candice LeRae, who grabs Io by the hair and gear then runs to throw Io into the plexiglass barricade!

Candice walks over to the ring apron, lifts it up, and drags out a wooden table! It seems we might be having more of an “****” Bra and Panties match this evening. The Poison Pixie sets the table down because a random bag is placed on top of it. Confused, Candice picks it up and unties the string. Unlike the Dakota/Tegan Steel Cage match, there are no scissors and handcuffs. Candice dumps it’s contents out and this bag has bloody body parts in it! Arms, feets, and a severed head fall to the ground and scare Candice, making her scream out of fear. She walks off to the side to regain her composure for a moment after that embarrassing scream she just let out after plastic body parts.

With her challenger’s back turned, Io gets out to attack Candice… and she picks up one of the bloody hands along the way. Candice turns back to get the table but instead takes a slap to the face from the bloody hand! Candice pushes back the limping Io and gets swatted with the hand across her butt! A yelp escapes her lips as Candice rushes away from Io and her gory weapon.

They quickly get back in front of the graveyard and LeRae has nowhere to run. Io, still limping, catches up to Candice and throws the hand at her. The distraction of the hand doesn’t seem to work as Io tries to go for a spear, but Candice moves and Io crashes through a tombstone! Io now has both ends of her body hurting for different reasons, however she still seems like has a lot of fight left in her. Candice will make sure that fight doesn’t last for long as she looks around for what her next move could be.

Then she spots it. With Io laying on the grassy ground of the graveyard, Candice struggles to pick up a second tombstone that is leaning against the wall. She gets the object above her head then slams it across the right knee of Io Shirai! The champion yells out and begins clutching her knee after the weight of that heavy tombstone came straight down on the bone.
