Short leash, cold head
“Clean that up. Thoroughly.”
Her cool voice sliced right through the thick fog in my head. Loona was already on her feet, smoothing down her pleated skirt and taking a step back, away from the spot on the rug and the light wood of the bed frame that still held a telltale gleam. She tossed a pack of wet wipes down at my knees.
My body felt like lead. The trembling aftershocks of the massive release were slowly ebbing away, and with every passing second, reality crept back with frigid clarity. The ecstasy that had me whimpering on my knees only moments ago, calling her “Mistress,” had vanished into thin air. What remained was a sobering, razor-sharp shame.
I tore a wipe from the pack. On all fours, I crawled across the soft carpet and began wiping away the remnants of my own pleasure from the bed frame. Every single stroke burned against my soul. Why had I broken so easily? A few touches, a little friction, and my painstakingly maintained pride had collapsed like a house of cards.
*You pathetic idiot*, the thought hammered against my temples. A wave of pure self-disgust rose inside me, mingled with an impotent, bitter rage. My hands tightened, knuckles turning white as I scrubbed the lacquered wood. The defiance flared back up, hot and bilious. I wanted to leap up, pack my things, kick down the door, scream in her face that she held no mastery over me, that this sick game ended right here and right now. I wasn't an animal. I was a goddamn human being with a mind of my own. Yet even as these rebellious thoughts raced through my brain, my body remained motionless on the floor, fingers dutifully tending to the wipe. The chasm between what I wanted to think and my miserable, active subservience was tearing me apart inside.
“I can practically hear the gears turning in that head of yours, John.”
I froze mid-motion.
Loona was leaning against the wall, arms crossed over her chest, looking down at me. Her lips twitched with amusement, but her gaze was razor-sharp, reading every single flicker of emotion before I could even finish the thought.
“The famous post-nut clarity,” she murmured lazily, strolling toward me until the tips of her over-the-knee socks rested right before my braced hands. “The second the pressure leaves that cock of yours, the little rebel convinces himself he’s suddenly back in control. You’re trying to figure out how to squirm your way out of this, aren’t you?”
I bit my lip, staring down at the floor in silence. My heart raced, caught in the act and deeply unsettled.
“Get up,” she commanded quietly.
I hauled myself up with effort. My jeans still hung loosely around my hips, the undone zipper baring my soft, resting member, tender and hypersensitive after days of torment.
Loona studied me for a long moment. Her initial mocking smirk softened slightly. Taking a step closer, she raised a hand and dragged her fingertips across my cheek almost gently—not as an act of humiliation, but with a surprisingly calm, warm naturalness.
And that touch was the absolute worst part. My mind screamed at me to pull back, to slap her hand away. Yet my traitor of a body involuntarily eased beneath her fingers. There was an insidious relief in letting go, in surrendering responsibility. That searing contradiction—despising her for her control while desperately craving her approval—made me sick with shame.
“Don’t go thinking I’m trying to ruin you,” she said softly. Her voice had lost its biting sharpness, though it sounded no less resolute. “I know full well what’s coming up next week. Your calculus exam. And Julian didn’t hold you up earlier for nothing—you guys wanted to game this weekend, right?”
I blinked in surprise, entirely unable to hide how hard that hit me.
“A useless wreck flunking out of high school and losing his friends does nothing for me,” she went on, locking eyes with me. “I need you to function, John. Disciplined, successful, and presentable to the outside world—while in here, you know exactly who holds the reins. You’ll get your breathing room. You’ll study, and if your grades hold up, you can go hang out with Julian tomorrow afternoon. I like you, after all, sweetheart. That’s precisely why I’m molding you.”
Her thumb traced my lower lip, then her hand drifted slowly downward.
“But the leash stays tight. Especially now, when your head thinks it can run wild.”
Turning around, she reached toward the nightstand and picked up the black resin cage. The small brass padlock clicked faintly between her polished fingers.
“Into the bathroom. Wash up thoroughly. You have three minutes. And leave the door open.”
In the bathroom, I braced both hands on the sink and stared into the mirror. My reflection felt like a stranger’s. Staring back was a boy with flushed cheeks, heavy dark circles, and unbuttoned pants—driven by urges that were systematically stripping away his autonomy, piece by piece. I hastily washed off with cold water, but the stinging heat on my skin and the poisonous ache in my chest refused to wash away. I hated it. And yet, I knew without a doubt that I would be kneeling before her again in moments.
Five minutes later, I stood before her once more in the dim light of her room. My heart thudded heavily against my ribs as Loona sank to her knees. Her cool fingers aligned the base ring against the sensitive tissue. The cold casing slid over the soft flesh, locking around it with millimeter precision until the tip pressed against the vents.
Every fiber of my being screamed silently to clamp my legs shut, to shove her away, to take back control. But I didn't budge. I stood frozen like a statue and let it happen.
With practiced ease, she guided the pin through the loops, set the lock in place, and clicked the shackle home.
*Snap.*
The sound echoed through my chest like a final hammer blow. The constriction was back instantly—familiar, suffocating, and merciless. The metal didn't just seal off my body; it felt as though every time it snapped shut, another piece of my free will was locked away for good. The brief illusion of freedom was over.
Loona stood up, ran her hand through my hair one last time, and turned toward the desk where her laptop was sitting.
“Pants up, John,” she said in a tone that brooked no argument. “And then sit down next to me. It’s time we take a look at Emma’s little masterpiece.”
