Shopping for your new room a head of time. Epic Land Mark Post 69!!!!

After a while your phone rings and you excuse yourself from your sister and cousin with a kiss before heading down stairs to meet back up with Faith, once in the gym you give her a face that clearly spells out she set you up. You had her the class room keys" The class room is locked, My sister and Cousin are now on very very friendly terms. It was kinda shocking, they got a nice meal I had a few bites."

Faith just laughs at you, " It sounds like you enjoyed yourself and you had fun, Charlie wanted me to give you this." She leans forward and gives you a heavy kiss, before she kisses you on cheek " And Skye wanted me to give you the second one, she felt it was a little less suggestive and aggressive."

You look at her a moment " I guess that means you had no problem with passing on this message? Can I ask did they give you these kisses themselves to get you to pass it on or did they simply ask you to pass it on?"

Faith blushes a moment and nodding, " Skye said it would not have the same meaning if they did not, which is why I figured she did not want to give me a heavy kiss since well. Maybe if Charlie was the one to pass on her kiss she might have sent a heavy kiss."

You smile at Faith warmly before asking," So what are we going to do now? We got sometime before I return home for the night. As you know and they still got work here to do for a while."

Faith smirks and gives you a saucy smile, " Charlie and Skye got to see the outfits I bought, they decide they want a chance to go get a few for themselves sometime. Anyway I figured, we could go pick out some furniture for your future room. As well as some other things, I mean I am giving you the biggest room in the house. It makes sense to fill it with things you want in it, I know many guys would rather have a sparse set up. But honestly your room will be to big for that. Your room will have space for a table for breakfast with room for seats for up to four people, it will have room for two couches one will always be facing the fireplace. And another facing a TV and Stereo system if we put one in. There is also room for a desk and computer, to be honest the room I plan to give you was meant to be the second floor siting room or den. It has it's on bathroom and attached to it."

She then looks about guilty for a moment before going on, "Honestly its one of the only things about the room that might prevent some forms of decoration and spacing. I mean the two doors, oh plus the door going out onto the deck. But I figured the bed would be across from the door that goes into the bathroom. The fireplace is to the same side as the bathroom, with the door going into the room some ways from that. The couch would just been in the open area, a table for breakfast could be in front of one of the windows near the door going out onto the deck there are two windows where I plan to put the desk. and the deck can be across from it next to the bathroom door, leaving the whole other 1/4th of the room for the TV, and Stereo entertainment and couch. Hell we might even put two couches the same back to back in the middle of the room one facing the fireplace and one facing the TV."

You shrug a moment suggesting, " It sounds a lot like my current room, minus the fireplace and all the windows. Plus in my current room my very large bed takes up most of the room. I do mean large, I am unsure what my parents intended the room to be used for, they should have been the ones to take it. But I ended up with it, maybe it was to make up for the fact my real parents are dead who knows." As you say this you grab the dog tag and rings around your neck again and rub them.

You think for a moment and recall " I thought you said the the large room on the second floor was the master bedroom."

Faith looks at you a moment before explaining " My ex-husband had wanted it to be library so that is what it was used for, thou it was meant to be the sitting room or gathering room instead of the one in the basement. But now we will use it as a bedroom." she looks at you a moment and looks worried after your moment of reflection in regards to your parents.

Faith hugs you and hushes you a moment with a soothing murmurer, " No worry, that is one of the reasons I think we should go pick out furniture. We are to make this room your space, this is space that you will share with all of us if you like or only some of us. I am sure we will all understand the need for you to have space, and with the housing being made larger it might be easier to understand it more so."

You then ask well trying to understand "Why would anyone turn a master bedroom that could be used as a den or a sitting room or any number of anything else into a library."

Faith smile seems to fade into a frown, " I would not go so far as to say the Library was only my ex-husbands, I mean there are books for children and books I like as well as other media but in all it would mostly only take up about two or three book shelves and they could have been stored in the media room. I mean the living room with the large TV and everything else. There also happens to be one of my favorite sitting chairs in the library."

You smile at her and kiss her cheek as she still holds you close, " Well, if it will help you feel welcomed in the space we are making for me. I would prefer to use said chair. I would also suggest we consider what we feel the others might like and try to fill the room so they all feel welcome, even if only some of them are allowed in the space in the morning. At the very least it should make you, and Charlie and Skye feel welcome."

Faith smiles bright as she considers how you wish her and Charlie at least to feel welcome in your space " Don't worry, we will work it out. I still plan for them to put a third floor on the house, and at that point it might so happen that the stuff from your room will be moved to the third floor, I have considered that the third floor might just be an large open room. And maybe add the deck up to the third floor in the back at least. It might not connect to the other deck but that is alright, I honestly have to talk to someone about it."

You look at Faith a moment and ask " Does that mean the other two houses as well?"

Faith has no response since she is not working on it but smiles anyway after a shrug," I am not to sure on that, Kaylee and Dr.Maxwell are the ones who plan to look more into it for the other two houses. Thou they will mostly be bought outright on government surplus grants or something. And then paid back with housing allowances that both Kaylee Dr.Maxwell and Myself get from are government. And since you will also be getting one of these allowances it also will be going to paying off the grant. But this does not effect are incomes so don't worry about it. Since I already own my house flat out and only have to pay what would normally be rent over all this is not a problem. And that is not even counting Charlies housing allowance, or her sister for her student grant. With six housing allowances we can pay off the other houses faster then we might other wise expect. But I am unsure if the interior parts of the other two houses are the same as mine." This bothers her a moment.

You look at her funny a second " Does it matter?" you think for a moment then add "I am not trying to upset you. It's just suppose to be a warm living space. That many people can live in without problem. The only thing I am really worried about is what space or house is going to be open to visitors at all times and how will we decide how that works. Because I get the feeling I am going to be busy and naked more often then not and I am unsure how we are going to deal with the families of everyone and everything. At least that is what I have been more worried about that then anything since this after noon with my sister. The other thing I am worried about is that I know of at least three people besides Kaylee and Charlie and Skye who are moving into your house once things start to work themselves out. And if your having construction done on the second floor to add a third floor that does not help conditions for that to work out better or faster."

Faith then asks " Who are the other three? I know of only one."

You they to look thoughtful but fail, " Irene and Alexandra Volkov, as for paying for the houses or construction I would suggest you get these two to help with some of the payments because they got all that money taken by the government from there father. Also construction if your upgrading the third flood should start on one of the other two houses and then sort out which or where people will live from there."

Faith thinks for a moment and then puts her finger to her lip as she thinks, " Oh, that's right the Volkov sisters can't stay with Yuri long term. And the last one moving in is, Mandy right? And then sooner or later your sister and cousin's but they are fine and safe where they are for now. And Cora and Dzaya, Dr.Maxwell as well as her nurse. And your sister's friend Tara, So that would be 14 people, my house 7 rooms. 3 are taken, the twins can share a room. So clearly the others will be allowed to move in once things work out however they work out or are required for different reasons. I am pretty sure Charlie and Skye wish to have their own rooms as they do in the apartment. So that means with Mandy I only have one room left at my house. Thou my ex-husband still has a few days, but I am sure Charlie and Skye will be happy to move they sounded positive about it when we stopped by to get some more stuff for the baby and they saw the house."

You look at Faith a moment before asking " So I take it you and Charlie will be in the two rooms on the second floor? Skye and Kaylee will share the rooms on the first floor? with Mandy and the Volkov sisters in the basement? That means your house would be full once I moved in if you did this, which as I said means we would need to find or start with floor upgrades on one of the other houses. I think we might also want to assign one of the older women in charge of each house. Clearly your in charge of your house, Dr.Maxwell mostly of another. So then we need to decided if it is Charlie or Kaylee in charge of the last one, or if we need to plan on only the two houses for now?"

Faith shakes her head realizing just how much you worry about every little detail, " Not much reason to plan beyond the extra one, but chances are it will end up being all three of them. When you just pointed out my house is full with the important things that need to be dealt with now. It became clear we will need the others almost surely." You lean in and kiss her a moment on the cheek just to break up the thoughts and try to refocus your own thoughts.

You scratch your head a moment " Well, to figure out what I need for my room we should go shopping.But then again you should ask Charlie and Skye how much of their stuff they plan to move. I mean I know some of these apartments are prefurnashed and if that is the case, which means at some point you mostly might need to take Charlie and Skye to pick out room stuff as well. All of it planned to be shipped and sent to your house after your ex-husband is gone, I would think anything that is not being used from with in the rooms could be stuck in storage in case it is needed later. With the number of people expected it will be a good idea to store any resources for use where they fit should it be required."

Faith laughs " Only three rooms have beds in the house, the rest of the rooms are unfinished and only have things in them that will need to be moved to storage. Or taken by my ex-husband because it relates to his work, that is the case of at least two of the rooms in regards to stuff he needs to take. And two others simply have things in them that need be moved to where we have space, like a treadmill and some other stuff. I know I can use the stuff here at the school but I still have some of that stuff at home in one of the rooms as well. So in other words we will need to let everyone pick out a bed, and dresser and other things to make themselves feel at home. But that is not a problem, you can always get more money from Dr.Maxwell for that. And the Volkov sisters can pay for their room. Mandy mostly has her own stuff, and Kaylee's room is already set up thou it will need to be moved. You see, my ex-husband lived on the first floor. And Kaylee's room and mine was on the second, but if you plan to put Charlie up on the second floor we will need to move Kaylee. I am sure she will understand, more so if she ends up in charge of her own house once all the changes and upgrades are done and if there is an emergency I can always give one of the other girls Kaylee's room and she can stay at her apartment til it's sorted or we got space after the upgrades."

You smile at her warmly " I just want to make sure you and Charlie are close to me, if it means we have to make sure Kaylee is helping watch over one of the other houses that is fine."

Faith nods in agreement but you add " That also means in the end Dr.Maxwell's nurse will end up in are house as well, if Kaylee a nurse is in charge of one house. And Dr.Maxwell of the other, encase it is needed having Maxwell's nurse in are house will be best in the end. So for now the housing arrangements are only sorted out for the ones who are clearly sorted. Meaning, Charlie and Skye thou maybe it would make more sense to put them on the first floor to allow them to share a bathroom. And the Volkovs with Mandy in the basement still, til we know who else to put in there. Meaning that Kaylee can keep her room on the second floor for a while."

Faith smiles in an the most agreeable manner " I get what you mean now, so we should plan to allow Charlie and Skye to pick their bathroom stuff and bed room stuff and have them share one. But that also means I need to find out which one of these women I might best be able to share a bathroom with." she makes a face as she says this before saying " I was alright with Charlie but you made a valid point about the use of space."

You just nod a moment, before saying " We should get going soon either way, we have talked about this long enough. I will call Charlie once we get into the car to ask about stuff in their apartment and if they own any of the larger stuff."

Faith nods as the two of you get to the car and load up as she drives off from the school, you pull out your phone and have it call Charlie. It does not take long to get an answer as you listen for a moment.

On the other end you hear Charlie say " Hello?"

You of course wonder why she did not check her phone to see who dialed in and shrug " Charlie, I had a few things I wanted to ask, it has something to do with what Faith and I are going to do right now and it would be kinda important in the near future more or less."

Charlie of course is sure you had something to take care of if your calling even she knows you don't like mobile phones much " Well whatever it is I am sure I will answer it as best I can."

You look at Faith a moment as she drives and and then outside to try and guess how much time you have before saying into the phone " I need to know if you own much of any of the furniture in your apartment, because it might effect or require us to go pick up somethings for you at a later date once you move in with Faith and it might effect the things I place in my room to some degree."

Charlie scratches her head a moment well thinking to her sell and then replies with " I only own the electrical things in this apartment, the rest came with the apartment."

You scrunch up your face as you say into the phone " To bad for that, I kinda liked your kitchen table and felt it might be good for my room once everything is sorted out. To allow my space to help welcome you into it, now instead I have to try and find something close to it. But don't worry, I am sure we might manage to find something that is at least interesting or looks nice."

Charlie of course has no idea what your on about but decides that it is best to say something and responds with " That is alright, I am sure any space that is yours will always feel welcoming to me. You don't have to do that, but I do agree the style of table is nice." you scratch your head a moment and look at Faith.

You speak into the phone a moment saying " Give me a moment Charlie." You turn to Faith and cover the phone and say " It turns out she does not own anything but the electronic stuff in the apartment, which means we can't use her table. But she told me I should not go to the trouble to get something that looks like it, even thou she likes the table at her place."

Faith thinks about it a moment and then says " Well, I guess we could just to find a table to fill the space since she does not own any of her stuff."

You consider this a moment " Maybe you can take Skye and Charlie to find some of them stuff for their rooms on the day you take them for outfits for themselves or something."

Faith nods to herself a second " I agree, and maybe they can help find something. Or the likes to allow for them to feel welcome either way even if we don't use anything of theirs in the room. Like the chair in my case."

You just nod as you lift your hand away from the speaking part of the phone and say " Charlie, when Faith takes Skye and you shopping, she is going to take you to help get stuff for the rooms that the two of you will have in her house as well. I am sure the three of you can work this out better then I can."

Charlie just feels confused and responds with " Well, whatever helps I guess. I am sure Faith understands this more then I do, but she will be there so it mostly will not be a problem I guess."

You make a kissing sound into the phone " Charlie dear, Faith also suggested maybe you and your sister can pick things out to be put in my room in some way. I hope whatever the two of you pick out looks good either way."

Charlie nods to herself on the other end of the phone a moment " Tell Faith that Beth is fine, I am holding her close to me well we listen to music. I was thinking laying down in a bit and taking her with me, I plan to lay Beth down like Faith and I had her last night. Faith said you mostly are going back to your house tonight. Don't worry about it, I am sure you can stay over another night and I will see you at school tomorrow." you hear her make a kissing sound much like you had before she hangs up.

You turn back to Faith, " Are you sure Charlie is ok?"

Faith thinks about what you asked but without taking her eyes off the road and responds with " She was fine, I filled her in on a few things like your sleeping arrangements tonight and so on."

You look at Faith a moment " I just decided that, all thou it might upset my sister and cousin, they might not like it. I want you to bring Charlie by my place tonight, she can stay with me. If my sister and cousin want to spend time with me they will have to understand right?"

Faith smiles to herself at your thoughtfulness considering she did feel Charlie was a bit bummed, but she was not going to tell you that, " Alright I think I can do that, I mean Charlie knows the way to your place after all." You nod as she is just pulling into the furniture place she seemed to want to talk you too.

Once inside the store it becomes clear like many of the other quality places that Faith likes or shops at this place looks run down on the outside but is clean and orderly on the inside. Faith leads you over to the bed frames and the likes." So what are you thinking you would like for your room?"

Looking around you honestly have no idea but wonder, " I was thinking a four post bed would be good with dark blue curtains to help keep the sun from falling onto my bed. This will also allow me and whatever one of you is staying with me for the night to have privacy even if say, Charlie and yourself have entered my room with breakfast."

Faith smiles at the thoughtfulness when considering your bed more or less, " So how long had you been thinking about that?"

You can't really think of how long so you spit out the first thing that comes to mind," A few hours, I figured I would make a rule in the house that says only three people can wake me from my slumber and the primary reason for three is the fact any two of them may very well be in the bed with me which means one of the others may have to raise us from are sleep."

Faith has a huge smile on her face," Who is the third?"

Looking at Faith in the eyes you know she is just playing stupid," That would be Skye, Charlie and Skye really seemed to enjoy this morning. I figured if I was going to make a rule like that I would kinda include both of them as one person, not to say that I don't know otherwise. I just figured that since Charlie and yourself seem to like to share the bed with me I might do that as well. Which means, that I would need to make sure at least one person not in my bed is able to wake me if the call or need should come about."

Faith of course looks at you funny, not that she is against Charlie and her sharing the bed with you which is not the case. But that you had decide to think that far a head but she shrugs and realizes your worried about all kinds of things still and might as well let this slide. She smirks in a motherly way without looking like your mother, " I like the idea for the bed either way, I will tell you that others might question your taste in regards to the four post bed. The privacy and over all ability to have darkness in an otherwise bright room in the morning. As well as help keep the people in the bed warm or cool most parts of the year does make sense. I am sure once the others learn why if they should question the taste they will get it very quickly over all."

You just nod as the two of you look at a pair of frames and Faith " We should get the one that looks the most plain well still being good looking over all, and is as big as they can get. So space is not an issue for your bed company, so I would think this dark wood one over here with the darkish finish on it should look nice with dark curtains. Without having the frilly things a girl might have on a similar bed of the same style."

You look at the frame a moment and notice it will do the job well not looking overly styled against a male more or less, and it should look nice over all in any room or space that it might be put into. Look at Faith a moment and she has a smile about the idea so you nod " No problem, I like it I have a bed already that will fit on it in my room. It was the largest my parents could get."

Faith smiles as she hears this, " Alright then, that is sorted. We should look at couches. And entertainment centers and the likes." Once at the couches it becomes clear that, it would make sense to go a head and get two that can sit three people so that if you are watching the fireplace with one person you can lay down with them to do so. Which would work better then a love seat facing the fireplace and a couch for three facing an entertainment center. Faith is looking at a few couches that seem to be leather but your shacking your head, you never liked how leather makes a lot of sound when you sit on it and you never liked how it sticks to your flesh in summer and the likes.

So instead Faith looks at a few that seem to be made of some poly-blend, it feels almost like velvet or silk the blend is so smooth. You turn to Faith " This is the cloth style I would like, it feels great against the skin. Almost as nice the as feel of your neck against my lips and the likes."

Faith takes a seat in a chair of the same style as the couches your looking at and feels it against her arms and legs and smiles, " I agree, it does feel like my skin is being kissed."

You look at her a moment and ask " Do you like the chair?"

Faith of course nods, you agree by adding," Alright then, we will get two a darker blue or gray. With a matching chair, thou I wonder how they will work with the other chair."

Faith is thinking about the other chair as she explains, " the other chair is microfiber instead of a poly-blend but the texture of the cloth is a lot a like, just that the arms on the chair are wood instead of covered in fabric. If we get the set in gray they will all match very well. Since my chair is charcoal, I am sure we could find something in the style of my chair if we look around a bit more."

Your not sure if she wants you to get a set to match her chairs or go with your first pick, " I like these, I know most often is best to shop around but I like it a lot already. Plus couches without cloth covered arms could be a hazard to children later, as well as the fact that I can cuddle someone up to me with my back against the arm as well."

Faith of course agrees with that assessment of couches and the style of chairs and so on the whole, so it turns out your gut was right she agrees, stating. " I would prefer for us to be able to cuddle."

As she gets up from the chair she had tried out you sit down and pull her into your lap, " Even this feels very good does it not? I mean I can have someone sit on my lap like this and I can feel very good about how the weight on my body and the chair allows full support so it should be a good chair for the room correct?" Faith is just ear to ear smiles as she sits on your lap wiggling about a bit before she finally gets to her feet and nods to herself a moment.

A moment later a sells rep comes up and sees you checking out the furniture and looks at you funny because of the intimate nature of the seating arrangements moments ago. As he is about to say something about the age difference you cut him off and say to him " I know I should not do things like that in public, but I would like to warn you old man in less you wish to lose your business money you will hold your tongue." The man is taken a back by you stopping him from commenting and looks at Faith a moment as if to say are you going to let him talk to me like that.

Faith of course laughs at the man, " I would suggest you do what he says, I mean I am sure he could find a nicer sells rep here to help sell him what he wants without talking down to him. And chances are if he has to do that, chances are it will be a female and she will be shamelessly flirting with him. And based on the set up of this business as I have been here before chances are said female is likely to be related to you, since this is a family run business. So I suggest you just keep your mouth plastered shut, because chances are if said replacement sells rep is youngish and attractive and she some how recognizes my lover here chances are you will not be happy with the results."

You smirk at Faith as the Man looks at you a moment before asking " What can I do for you today?"

You eye him up a moment, " You going to just back down from a threat like that? where is the fun in that!"

The man eyes you a moment, " I realize that you might not notice but paying business is better then lost sells or any other results that may or may not result from the interaction. So as you said it might be best to hold my tongue, my father would not be happy if I lost sells because of my judgment calls against others rather then just making the sell and having happy customers."

You smirk at the guy this time, and goat him on." Well that is very good, you see these couches here? this poly-blend and the chair? I am would like to buy a set in gray as well as the four post bed over there, the one in the dark stain in the biggest frame you got in that style. Which you happen to have one of on the floor at the moment as an example."

The man looks at you a moment, he had taken the bait after all and made judgments anyway." Are you not a bit young to be buying this kind of stuff for a living space?"

You of course size him up and smirk again and point out " I thought I told you to hold your tongue and just do the business transaction more or less." You look at Faith a moment before sizing up the business style and type." So Faith did you know this kind of business is normally only got male sells reps because like selling cars and any number of other products in a business like this. It happens to be believed that males are better at doing so? He said his father would not like it if he pissed off a customer and he should focus on the sell right?"

Faith just smiles and nods as you keep explaining " You see Faith, they tend to get the furniture on consignment. which means the price for the product can be talked down much like in the case of a car. Which is the reason they tend to have males in this kind of sells job because in general it is believed that a male sells rep can intimidate a person without really saying so. As to help improve over all profit in the hopes the people buying the product don't realize they can talk down the sticker price on the objects within the shop. I would also point out that this man made the statement like you had that this is a family business, which means this location has had success which is often rare for consignment furniture stores they tend to pop up move and relocate often times. Since to do so either requires a clearing the stock which gets authorized by the companies that sent out the stock to be in the show rooms. And after the business is closed sometime later someone else might end up opening up a shop much like it in a new location with the support of the companies that use to support the old shop in the hopes the new location might get better business."

The man is just wide eyed as you describe the over all business plan of his families business in a way that makes it sound like you know how to throw a wrench in the system and shut it down and looks at you a moment before saying " Why would a kid that has mostly never had a reason to buy furniture know something like this?"

You smile at him and make sure to state things clearly, " It's a clear point of the fact of all the sells stores like this often go on to clear the stock they have on the changing of the seasons to bring in new stock and get rid of the old. Like I know in some cases if I came in to this store two months from now I can mostly get what I am trying to buy for 20 to 40 percent less if not more after talking you down."

The guy just stands there with his mouth open drawing flies as Faith is giggling at you. " So John, maybe we should come back in 2 months?"

The guy back peddles fast as he realizes he might end up losing the sell, even thou you have no intent in leaving or coming back in 2 months which he does not realize with the way you out played his attempts to not only intimidate directly which is something this kind of sells person should avoid on the whole. He tries to make a mends, " I can give you a fair discount don't you worry on that." Faith of course having played her role in this perfect is just smiling.

You turn to the man and ask " Might I ask to meet your father if he is here? I believe he might be a more reasonable man then you are. And I might get a better deal from him and maybe even better personal interaction."

The man looks at you strangely for a moment before you add " You see sir, your father should focus more or showing you what you should and should not do when trying to make a sure sell then anything else. And I would be remiss in my abilities as a customer not to point this out to him, I mean he wants the most out of his employees I am sure even if they are family." Faith realizes your screwing with him again and doing a very good job of it.

She looks at the man a moment, " We still got more things to look at and decide on, personally sir I agree with my lover that your abilities as a sells person are lacking. I would much prefer to deal with a person with more professionalism, if said person happens to be your father then so be it. But if I where you I would make sure to make sure to inform your father in the most professional way you can manage, that you have people on the sells floor that need his attention. I would also make clear to him that they understand the business plan of your business, and that you already offered them a fair discount from sticker prices. I also know that often in places like this the more stuff you buy the more the stores often pull off the sticker, so be sure to tell him that as well and see how he responds when he gets out here."

Faith kisses you on the cheek as she watches the fuming man walk off to what is clearly an office before adding," We mostly managed to get 30 to 40 percent off whatever we buy, this place does fair business on the whole even thou it looks run down outside. But to have him insult a customer, and treat you like that when your soon to be on of all things the news mostly I would hate to see what you might do when you say that well dealing with business preparing for this program and buying things you needed that you found resistance in the community in the form of a bias against you because of your age." She says this with a huge smirk as she draws you towards the tables she knows your going to have to pick one out.

Once over by the tables you find a dark wood set in the traditional Japanese style that looks a lot like what is in Charlies kitchen, the primary difference is that Charlies kitchen had chairs all around the table. This table on display only has chairs at each end and two on one side and a bench on the other. Faith is just amused by it, and she looks at you a moment before pointing out," The bench if on the same side as the bed would allow for the room to look more open, well allowing for better access as a whole to the room if we push it under the table. I think honestly this table will make others feel welcome in the room, it's simple clean lines along with the chairs and all seem about right. It would also fit the male or darker theme of wood and fabrics you plan to place in your room."

A moment after she finishes a bit older man comes out not followed by the idiot that had insulted you more or less with his tone before, he looks at the table set your checking out adding. " Good choice fine piece this one is, it has clean lines with a simple design and the chairs even support an old mans back very well. And the padded seats on the chairs are also nice, some people like the bench some people do not. But as your lady friend said, the bench does allow for a room to look more open then it happens to be when it is pushed under the table."

You realize quickly he over heard almost everything Faith said but he did not disagree once with anything she said, Faith on the other hand is just looking at him as he talks trying to size him up before saying " I guess your son managed to inform you of the hard sell as quickly as possible without failing up what I told him to tell you."

The man rolls his eyes before saying " My son, made it clear he tried to make the sell without making preset judgments against the young man. He said that you understand are business and how it works, he said that he had already agreed to a discount. And that you wish to buy quite a few pieces of furniture."

You look at the man this time and size him up, you smile " I will make you a deal I made it clear to him that I know if I come back in 2 months I would save 30 to 40 percent maybe more, so I will say this once and see how you feel about it. In many cases places like this will take the furniture to a house for free on any item over 350 dollars American, but I plan to spend quite a bit more then that. So I want free delivery, and insurance on all items being moved against all damage. And 25 percent off, I would request more for his insulting manner and inability to deal with customers properly but I will be fair if you will be fair. I believe the number of objects I plan to buy and the over all profit that can be made far out weigh even what you might expect. So long as I can pay for it in European Pounds."

The old mans eyes light up and starts to nod sagely and says " I guess you do understand how to ensure that my son would not make a sucker of you, I will agree to no cost for insurance on damages for delivery you will have the right to turn the items away if they are damaged when they get to your house. And I will give you 25 percent off." The man looks at Faith then at you and says " I mean your house." As if to say he understands this stuff is mostly going to the person's house who is the older of the two but clearly understanding that you are the one buying the stuff.

You smirk at the old man and ask " How do you know that they are going to her house and not my house? Or how do you know that her house is not my house?"

The old man has a smile as a toothy grin starts to crack across his face," I see how she looks at you, I have been married a long time and that is not the look of a married couple. And all thou I don't doubt that you could mostly own your own house or apartment, I will admit that my sons original thoughts might have lead me to believe what I believe thou I will not be as insulting in my belief as he was in his."

You pat the old man on the back because you like him, adding " I got good news for you old man, you agreed to the deal and now for the good news. You will not be taxed for the money I spend to buy these things, you will also not be taxed on the products you sell to me. So after learning this if you wish to give me another 5 percent discount I will understand, if not that is fine as well."

The old man looks at you in a new light, " I see well that is important to know, I don't get many who can suggest that when doing business. And I often don't realize it happening til after the bill rings up, that would suggest connections to the Government would it not?"

You smile at Faith, " You sure know how to pick your businesses, these old guys keep knowing things I never knew til today."

Faith kisses you on the cheek again as the old man says " I guess that means you also will end up saving me money on the exchange rate for the cash as well?" You nod and hand him the card you have and he starts to whistle when it becomes clear to him that you got a premium card, and your just happy that once again your dealing with a business that knows the value of it.

You then add " I will be mostly having to bring more people to buy furniture in the future so good deal now will ensure more business later for sure, plus I will add you have everything I wish to buy just about. Only thing I did not pick out yet was an entertainment center, which would mostly be better decided on after I figure out if I plan to wall mount the TV or have in stand on or in the entertainment center and then again that is not able to be decided til I figure out what TV panel or design or size I plan to use."

The man whistles again and then asks " So how many more people do you plan to bring in?"

You look at Faith then at the man and then say " At least 5 to 11 so far? Thou I might not be with them next time, it might just be her or I might just send them with that card. But there is a good chance they will be paying with their own money, but they will be buying at least a bed and dressers and other things one might need for a room." You turn to Faith and ask " I need to pick out side tables for going beside the bed or a foot stool or ottoman or two. Or should I just figure to have him pair it with whatever works with what I picked out and two of them? You also did not say anything about a closet or a need for a dresser."

Faith looks at you a moment before saying " Your closet will be in the master bath, and there is mostly more then enough drawers and shelves and places to hang things that you should have no problem with that."

The old man just looks at you a moment trying to decided how to help." The side tables required for the couches and the bed will be included at a small fee, I will give you set costs on much of this and a discount on top of that. This table your looking at in pounds is the bench and chairs is about 1000, put the discount of 30 percent and it's 700. The couch set with a matching chair and one ottoman and a side table, and a coffee table. The side table and coffee table will match this dinning table set your looking at, it will cost about 910 after discount. A second couch and side table will be 525, the bed frame my son said you had been looking at will be about 300 with the side tables it will come to 375. I will throw in two ottoman for free, they will match the chair and couches. So all together, that will be 2510 pounds."

You smile at Faith and say " That is not as much as I expected guessing a price off the top of my head based on the labels."

The old man looks at you trying to figure out what your getting at and realizes what is explaining," They are marked in the Free Zone dollar, also you might end up paying less once the machine is done converting the pounds into Free Zone and not having you pay tax and all that other crap. That was the estimate on the whole, without running or checking the over all exchange before I charge you for it."

Faith then turns to the man stating," I need it delivered in four days, I will fill out the address on the information and all that and the drop off time."

You turn to the man and suggest," I am going to pay you 50 pounds extra to give the men who move the stuff, you are to keep it if the men do not do a good job. If they do a good job you are to give it to them for a bonus, if they make a pass at this lady or any others at the house when the items are delivered they will not get it. And believe me I will be sure to call to let you know if you get the pocket the 50 pounds for yourself."

The old man just smiles as he hears this, but then you add " If I believe they will or should get the money I will be sure to tell the guys who drop the stuff off." His smile fades a little but he lets out a laugh and nods. You then add, " I figured this way, you got a reason to ensure they behave themselves because you already got the tip. You don't have to tell them you will be giving them the money when they return having done a good job and behaved, but they will return to get the tip after they have. Or you get to pocket the money and consider getting new employees."

The old man pats you on the back as you had, " Don't worry, I will tell them they had best behave. That it would not be good for business for them not to." He takes you into the office to start filling out, the stuff he runs the card to check to see if the money is on it. He smiles and nods to himself when indeed the card is valid and working, he checks to make sure you are who the card says you are with ID, and then hands the paper work over to Faith after you signed the agreement for the delivery date time and all payment agreements including the 50 pound tip.

After Faith fills out all other vital information on the form, the man runs the money and the cost and hands back the card, and as the cash register and the banks and his accounts and everything figures out the transfer information on the whole and the exchange rate and the value of Pounds to Free Zone, when all is said and done the man says " Well I was off, it seems it only cost 2250 with the 50 pound tip. Since in truth the only solid value on the transaction was the 50 pound tip, the rest of it had to be figured out. My machine estimated I saved 25 percent as well, on the taxes I don't pay as well as the exchange rate value I got on the money I just converted. So in truth my young friend on the over all transaction if I had done this with any other person I would have lost 30 percent, but today I only lost 5 percent for the full exchange. Plus the business items I gave you with the insurance coverage and the ottomans, but if you consider the fact the insurance coverage is a feud on the whole. Since it happens to be done for a year by the companies of the products anyway for faults or damage in transport, I normally like many others charge for something already covered in the product as a whole. But I am going to guess you asked for me to cover the cost of damage for delivery because you figured as much or knew as much, but I will say now I will pick up anything that is found to be defective for up to two years and replace it. You see that is my insurance coverage as a consignment dealer. That is the deal the companies give me for things I take home and pay them for myself, but they will not need to know I did not take these things home to use my self should I wish to cover you in this way."

You shake his hand and thank him and suggest " I would say you need to send your son back to school or find him a better form of work or keep him away from the front. Faith here had been here before, she has gotten a ton of stuff from here sometime ago I am sure, but the guy did not recognize her or anything. I am surprised you did not, but might I suggest you try to get someone on the front door more capable of remembering return customers or valued customers. And if need be I can keep an eye out for a part time worker for you that might be able to do what I suggest I mean to remember the customers, maybe make a book take a photo so you can train a new person whenever you replace the person who does this job? So the new guy knows who the valued customers are the moment they walk in, based on what they bought and how important you the owner believe them to be. To ensure people don't encounter someone like your son in less they happen to be first time customers? Or your door man does not believe that your son is capable of insulting them, which means you might need to train the door man to help make up for your son's short comings if he can't over come them himself."

The old man starts to laugh but stops and holds his side, " Thanks for the idea, for a book of customers, as for your friend Faith here. You are right she had been here before, but with another guy. Which is why I did not recognize her, they had been buying a lot of stuff to fill a large house. Also she seemed to have just become pregnant when I got this visit from her, so you can understand why I might have trouble remembering her as a whole. She looked different for sure, but anyway I guess that did not work out to bad. But not to be rude miss, I had told you as much as the guy was picking out the stuff he wanted for your house."

Faith just smiles as she recalls this old man's banter before adding, " That might be true, and your not the only one. But that does not matter my Beth is beautiful and healthy, but you want to know the best thing old man? My ex-husband only gets to take the furniture from his bed room." The old man starts to howl when he hears this.

You look at him funny before he says " Oh, her ex had gone on and on about how she made the house look one way. And how he wanted to fill it with nice things to make it fill another, but some how the order got lost and I ended up taking a new order from her. Or correct, I only ensured that his order for his room was correct. The rest of it matched her house the way she had wanted it to look, the dude was an ass. And since she was just as viable to validate the order as he was, she returned later to do so after informing me she did not like the first order and had us trash can it."

You pull out the photo from the hair stylist and hand it to the old man and ask " Is this how she looked when she had been doing that?"

The old man shakes his head and says " Nope, this all happen before that. She had also been bitching about his poor tastes in other shops and was surprised that out of all the shops she had picked out this was the only one he liked. I gave her a good deal as well on the stuff she had ordered to replace his order, I got a phone call bitching about the order when everything but his room was not right. I am willing to bet that order is one of the things that pissed him off about the being married I bet."

You shake your head as you look at Faith her eyes are slumping before you state " I don't that, from what I hear so far the dude is a tool, which is the reason you allowed her to change the order. I have only been in the sitting room so far but I can honestly tell you, that it all matched very nicely and was tasteful with how she made the room and house feel earthy and warm. Whatever he put into that order if she decided to change it simply shows he had no taste at all. I am not gay but at least I know what I like in a space I live in." You look at Faith before adding, " We need to make sure to find some nice rugs, the floors are stone it could get cold."

Faith shakes her head and says " I got carpet on the floors in all the rooms, only the public spaces on the first floor have stone."

The old man starts to smile as he sees the woman who had almost forgotten as much as it entertained him to having dealt with her before to be so happy, " Well, I don't know this young man very well but lady. I like him, he seems brighter then your ex. That fool did not even try to get a discount, he was a complete waste of space. I mean he could have read on the net the best way to buy furniture and learned the basics, and he was easy to intimidate. I take it all this stuff your getting is going in the Master bedroom then?"

Faith smiles and nods, because she recalls saying so when talking about dressers," I am getting rid of the misplaced Library he demanded be made the way he wanted it, one of the only things I allowed him to change on the order. Simply because he had way to many books to put anywhere else, but the desk and chairs and all the other stuff in it had been as I had ordered for one of the other rooms. All he ordered was the shelves, anyway this is all going into that room. It's a big room, so you can understand why we decided on a four post bed to try and stay warm at night and so on. The couches are going to be back to back, the chair will be set up best to turn one way or the other. Anyway, the dinning table is for breakfast in the master bedroom. But I guess you could have figured as much." The old man is howling some more.

He finally catches his breath, " Well young man, you at least know how to make better use of space. And the fact you waiting on the entertainment center is more then I can say for the other guy. My delivery guys will give you no hard time, they did all the moving and placement as she wanted the first time. I doubt they will fail this time."

Faith then asks " Can you take back the bookcases by chance? maybe give store credit? they are hardly used and undamaged. All they had been used for really is storage, and that would help with are business on the rest of the buys as well if you did so. As you said you can return things to the makers for up to 2 years or so from your own house if you paid for them, they don't have to know correct?"

The old man scratches his beard a moment before saying " When they come to put the stuff in the room so long as the books are not in the cases I will have my guys take them, I know someone who can use them and he is willing to pay top dollar for them. The only good thing your ex ordered happen to be them bookcases, the quality of the wood is way above average and the value is retained no matter when they had been bought. Long story short they are worth more now then they had been then. I will make a note to give credit when they return and attach them to the start of the book you suggested I make." You lean forward and shake his hand as if to say goodbye and to finish the agreement, Faith gives a small bow. The old man follows the two of you to the door, as his son comes back out from where he had been hiding you give his son the middle finger. And the old man starts to howl again as he pats you on the back as you pass out the door.

You turn to Faith once outside, " Well, that did not go as I expected but at least the Old man knew a good deal and how to make a good deal." Faith agrees as the two of you get back into the car.

(Author's note: I am sorry I have not posted much in a while the post before this one and this one had been together originally, but I was taking time before posting the rest of it. Some of the words or wording and the way I had written this post did not feel right. So I rewrote ports of it to try and make it fit better. Because as I wrote the post I later shifted away from one of the earlier idea's I had worked into this post and so it over all destroyed the purpose of some of the content. I also experimented with using less words like say ask and so on to try and make the conversion feel more real, any comments to how well I managed this I would be thankful! Cheers!!! And I hope you all still enjoy my story!!! or Story posts!!! Also I changed the first post where the character was waking up and every post after it til no longer a reference of that morning was made. I made it so the Sister had gotten the main character up by dry humping him at some point more or less. It was way more suggestive and I felt it would be better for the level of teasing that had been building up before the story and the character often talks about. Some of his later reactions well he is trying to write off her actions are about the same thou. Besides the parts where he fully describes it to his friends. And some of the friends pretty much respond the same way, thou some of that is changed as well to allow for it to blend better. I hope to see feed back from this at some point as well, to see how some of you who enjoyed the story might have liked the change if you can notice it at all in the earlier parts of the story! Sadly post 69 did not have any 69 going on in it I am sorry for this if I had realized it was post 69 I might have worked it in. I will be sure to work it into the next post as celebration of the land mark post!)
