Shopping Trip

You nestle the egg into your bag, the hard shell rests against your extra change of clothes. “So what do we do now?” you ask, closing your bag. The final day of preliminaries ended pretty early today. “We could go shopping?”

“That sounds good,” Jack says closing her bag with her own egg secured inside.

“The guys were actually thinking of going back to the Game Corner,” John says, “We wanted to try and win a Durant.”

“Oh, okay. Keep an eye out for anything else suspicious,” you say, standing on your tiptoes to give John a kiss.

“I’ll see if Daisy wants to meet up with us,” Jack pulls out her phone to send a text.

The group parts ways, the boys heading off to gamble while you and Jack meet with Daisy outside the Celadon Department Store. Daisy is standing outside waiting for you to arrive. “Congrats on qualifying,” she says giving each of you a hug, “Now let’s find some tv ready battle clothes.”

The three of you make your way up to the women’s clothing department. Daisy quickly sets out finding the perfect outfits for both of you. She brings back a selection of fancy dresses for you to try on. You reject some out of fear that your boobs might fall out on tv, which you realize might be an odd concern seeing that if you lose you’ll be fucked on tv. But you don’t plan on losing so that’s not a concern to worry about.

Jack tries on a couple dresses that Daisy picked out before opting for pants. She settles on a pair of pleated pants, a lilac blouse with the sleeves rolled up her forearm, and a dark red vest over it. “Purple and red, for my ghosts and fire pokemon,” she does a turn showing off her refined style.

“I love it,” you say with a clap, grabbing the next dress Daisy had picked out for you. You slip into the sky blue dress, your cleavage on full display like usual. You do a little spin, happy with the length, confident that it will keep you covered on tv.

You’re met with Jack’s cheers as you exit the dressing room. “That’s the one, just need a belt to tie it together.”

“Ooh and some heels,” Daisy says, dashing off to find your accessories.

You and Jack get changed back into your other clothes, heading to the counter to pay for your new clothes. You all laugh and joke, but you can’t help but wonder how Daisy is handling all the Team Rocket news. She was so against you being in contact with Black Jack only to find out that her paternal lineage is from Team Rocket. You don’t want to bring it up, maybe give Daisy a break from thinking about it.

The food court calls your names, each of you grabbing some food before making your way to the roof to eat. The view is beautiful from up here, you can see the whole city from up here. “Hopefully we won’t have to battle until the end of the tournament, it would really suck for us to be paired in the first round,” Jack says while picking at her meal.

“Well, don’t expect me to go easy on you,” you smirk.

“Oh I wouldn’t dream,” she laughs, “I just feel bad for the boys if they come up against me. Their bugs won’t last long.”

You go blind as someone’s hands cover your eyes. “Guess who,” a voice whispers in your ear. Your stomach sinks for a moment remembering Ashley overpowering you yesterday, but then you recognize the voice.

“YURUKI!” you shout, turning to see the sexy athlete behind you.

“Shhhh, it’s like you want me to get swarmed by fans,” she says before pulling you in for a kiss. “I heard from a little birdie,” she says, tapping Daisy’s head, “that you qualified for the Rookie Tournament. So I figured it was my turn to play cheerleader.”

You’re so happy to see her here. “Thanks, it means so much.”

“No problem, Babe. So about all this Team Rocket business?” Yuruki jumps straight into it. You hadn’t told her, so you assume Daisy had filled her in.

“It looks like the cops are involved,” Daisy gets serious. “They are running the Game Corner, there is a secret staircase in the back.”

“And you still want to find your father?” Yuruki inquires, stealing some of your food.

Daisy looks embarrassed to admit it, “Yes, I still want to know why he came back, but I’m less hopeful about the answer now.”

“Well, then we can try to sneak into the base. Surely they have to have some sort of computer records of members, right?” Yuruki nonchalantly suggests breaking into a criminal outpost.

“That sounds dangerous, plus A and I have the tournament,” Jack interjects.

“Well, obviously we’ll wait for an opening in the schedule. We’ve got my team, and you two should have limiters that will elevate your power.”

You think over it for a second, “I don’t know, isn’t there another way?” You’re a little timid to take Team Rocket on head first.

“I don’t think so, they have the cops Amber, the cops!” Daisy pipes in. “Yuruki’s right, we just need to sneak in and find the answer.”

Yuruki’s confidence on the situation is infectious, and by the time you’re leaving you feel more secure with your ability to infiltrate the Team Rocket hideout.

Jack stops the group, “I need to stop in here and grab a stone for after Litwick evolves. A, you need one for Gloom, right?”

You step into the store with Jack, looking between the leaf and sun stones. Either one would work on Gloom, but do you want a Vileplume or a Bellossom?
