Shopping!! Wait what??

As you walked with Harmony’s hand in yours you could see her light up as she walked the streets of Maxwell with you pointing out her favorite places. Before Harmony stopped in front of a dress boutique.

“Come on Nathan lets go shopping so I can go pick out a dress for the New Year Formal!” Harmony said excitedly. You smiled before you spoke. “Alright why not then.” You were just happy to see this new side if Harmony as you had never seen her so excited or just happy in general and you couldn’t lie she smelled like honey when you were near her if you were honest with yourself you didn’t want to be away from her for more than a few minutes especially with that smile of hers.

As you entered the boutique you hanged back and watched Harmony from afar you would learn the hard way what most boyfriends hated doing shopping for clothes with their girlfriends.

As Harmony shopped around searching for the perfect dress you sat and waited with your armored guardian standing at attention hand on sword hilt ready to be drawn at a moment’s notice. As you saw Harmony taking her time shopping you realized you were gonna be here a while and settled to take out your card deck and think about what you could potentially add to the deck. As the bronze league dueling tournament would be coming soon after the New Year formal dance and while you were comfortable with your deck you wanted change it up lest you get complacent and your enemies utilize your deck’s weaknesses.

You had your void magic you could utilize, your dark archer, your dark knight, your psionic enslavement sigils, your corrupted forest card, and other then basic elemental spells such as a fireball, forked lightning, water wave, earth spike, or wind blade along with your signature grim reaper card you lacked spells. You could try learning storm magic like your predecessor Dr. César Rodríguez had before you. However as you looked out the window you could see snow beginning to fall. Then it hit you everyone of your predecessors had made a contribution to the world of magic and you could to.

But as you watched the snow fall and settle you noticed the frost creeping onto the windows yes that’s what you would learn to do you would learn to harness the power of winter itself! Dr. Molotov had given a brief history lesson on how deadly the Russian Winter could be having stopped two entire armies the first being Napoleon’s army the second being the Nazi army during World War 2 yes it would be perfect.

However you had no clue where to even begin perhaps it would best to ask Dr. César Rodríguez himself as you were sure he had to start somewhere as well when he created Storm Magic but then again why stop there while the old bastard had cursed you with a lot of problems you did inherit his talents in necromancy and the dark arts itself perhaps you could that to you advantage yes there were plenty of armies that had fought and died during World War 2 for instance perhaps forming contracts with them would be helpful.

Calming your thoughts you looked up to see Harmony carrying a lot of dresses before walking into the changing room. It appeared you would be waiting a lot longer plenty of time to figure out area of magic to approach, study further or learn about. But what else could you study? Perhaps creating some new cards? Or maybe creating curses or-

You were brought out of your thoughts however when Harmony spoke. “Well how does this look?” She said as she emerged from dressing room. Looking up you could see Harmony in a navy blue sleeveless ballroom dress. You were stuck in awe as Harmony stood before you in such as dress before she giggled. “I guess you really do like this one.” She said smiling as she walked back into the dressing room. Sadly for you this wasn’t the first nor the last dress you would see that day.
