Shondrella Jackson (cute Black female)

"Hey!" a perky voice from behind.

Liam looked her up and down. Not too tall, not too thick. She was Black, which he hadn't expected, not that he had a problem with such things, with a cute face and a mess of pulled-back curls.

"I'm Shondrella. Shondrella Jackson. Pleased to meetcha."

She extended a hand, and Liam shook it. He glanced down, scoping out her outfit. She was wearing a black graphic tee, an image of some anime schoolgirl on it, with unkempt dark hair covering one of her eyes, the other, heavily bagged.

"Nice shirt." Liam scoffed.

"Thanks! Watamote, y'know... You a fan?" Shondrella asked.

"Never heard of it, sorry." Liam told her. "I'm not much into japanimation."

"Oh, you'd love it!" Shondrella beamed. "Across the episodes, you get to see how Kuroki Tomoko manages her problems of social anxiety. It's a great anime."

"I'm sure it is. If you like stuff like that."

"Yeah..." Shondrella sighed. "Too each their own, I guess. You more of a... Marvel guy?"

"Don't try to pigeonhole me. I like a bit of everything. DC, Marvel. That's both the MCU and the SPUMC. Hell, I even liked some of the Fox Marvel movies before they got popular again." Liam said, demonstrating the breadth of his film knowledge.

"Darn, sounds like you're a real film buff." Shondrella noted. "I actually haven't been to see a western movie in a couple of years, but I had to make an exception here. I mean, come on, it's Morbius."

"Even weebs like yourself have to check it out." Liam teased.

"That's right." Shondrella giggled. Liam couldn't help but notice the slight gap between her two front teeth as she smiled.

"We better get going." Liam decided. "If you need a snack or drink, buy one now. Once the movie starts, you won't wanna leave, believe me."

"I'm good." Shondrella responded, tapping her purse. "Believe me."

With that said, the pair of them made to the screen.

"Yo, Shondrella!" one of the cinema staff called out. The young woman responded with a wave as they went by.

"Friend of yours?" Liam asked.

"Who, Randy? Yeah, he used to work at Barnes and Noble with me. Funny story about that-"

"Barnes and Noble, huh?" Liam was seized by a sudden thought. "So what kind of employee discount do you get, on DVDs particularly?"

"Oh, uh 20%. 30 for books, though. It's saved me a bundle on anime over the years. Like I just bought every volume of Spy x Family, and-"

"That's great." Liam said, as they approached the ticket takers. It was all he needed to know. That twenty percent discount could come in handy. After all, June 14th barely two months away...
