What does Lia ask? Does she ask if they intend to keep her in this tank for the rest of her life? If so, what do they say? Do they intend to set her free into the nearby Gulf of Mexico? If yes, how does she react to learning her life on land is over?

Shock And Awe Part 3

In a scared tone of voice:

What's going to happen to me now?

Are you going to keep me in this tank for the rest of my life?

To which Lia hears the voice from the intercom say :

Of course not, although we are going to be keeping you here for at least one more week.

However, after that we will be setting you free into the nearby Gulf of Mexico as while this will probably be hard for you to accept your life on land is over.

At least for the time being, that is.

Once you make contact with your fellow mer-kind under the sea they will teach you about your heritage and if they deem you worthy they will then gift you with the ability to change back and forth between your natural mermaid form and your human form at which point you will be able to freely go back and forth between life under the sea and life on land.
