Shizuka

A fox girl who despite, despite being one, is awfully shy and reserved. She also eschews the typical demon/yokai age convention in the series by actually being a normal human age of 19, rather than that number plus 1000 like Nyotengu and Kanna. She meets with the owner of the island as she watches him fall over into the water like a fucking clumsy dumbass nearly drowning. Well it's actually more like she heard him from quite a ways due to her having fox hearing, naturally. Since then, she has more or less avoided interaction, though it could just be due to her official occupation being listed as "fox cosplayer" to avoid suspicions and confusion from everyone else. This did seem to lead to more problems though, primarily with her visit to Sayuri's nurse office with the latter thinking she has a fever and trying to treat it. At least with Momiji, she does outright seem to say what she is, at the insistence that she's not bad or mischievous like kitsune are known for being.
