Shinji meets Ritsuko

Shinji and Misato ride the service elevator down, the floor counter down and down the deeper they go. Misato is checking her make up in the reflection of the elevator door, and Shinji thumbs through the last pages of the folder given to him. Suddenly over a speaker tucked in the corner of the the elevator's ceiling speaks a woman's voice. The ambient voice of this woman calmly says "Would the chair person of E project technical division 1, Dr Ritsuko Akage please contact Captain Misato Katsuragi of operations division 1." Misato crooks her eyes up from her reflection to the small speaker and says "Well it seems they noticed were late." As the two of them descended deeper into N.E.R.V.

As the elevator finally reaches floor 28 and the door opens, Misato finishes checking her reflection and tries to walk out only for a blonde woman to block her. Shinji peeked over the folders edge seeing Misato put on a worried face and say "Oh hi there, Ritsuko." The woman is about the same age Misato from what Shinji could tell, but the the stern glare on her face made her seem older. She wore nothing but a lab coat and a swimsuit that hugged tight on her body which in terms of figure was just as voluptuous as Misato's. She stepped forward not breaking eye contact with Misato, pressing her large breasts into Misato's pushing her back into the elevator. She reached out a hand without looking and selected a floor almost as if by instinct.

She then spoke as the door closed as the three began descending even deeper "Why are you wasting my time Captain, don't you know we are short on time and manpower?" Misato gives a humble bow to this woman and says "sorry." The blonde woman named Ritsuko let out a tired sigh like this level of frustration with Misato was a common event. She then turned her eyes to Shinji looking at him like a lab mouse asking Misato "So is this the boy?" Misato shot up at attention and responded with "eh right, according to the Marduke report he's the third child. Ritsuko let out a curious hmm and addressed Shinji "pleased to meet you." Shinji pulled the folder from the rest of his face and let out a awkward "huh, uh sure." Misato leaned the smooth glossy wall at the back of the elevator and said "I'm afraid he is just like his father, the gruff and unfriendly part." Ritsuko cocked her head at that last bit at shinji and let a small smile creep across her face like it amused her.
