Chapter 4 by Herrin26 Herrin26

What's next?

Shelter.

They both sat up, stretching their stiff limbs and avoiding eye contact. The tension between them was palpable as they worked together to rekindle the fire, their movements stiff and awkward. As the flames grew stronger, so too did their need to acknowledge the elephant in the room.

"Look, Weasley," Draco began, his tone more earnest than she had ever heard before. "I know this isn't ideal, but we're in this together. We have to make the best of it."

Ginny nodded, still unable to meet his gaze. "I know," she said, her voice small. "But I don't think..."

Draco cut her off. "No, let me finish," he said, his voice firm but gentle. "We're going to have to rely on each other for more than just survival. The cameras are always watching, and we need to present a united front."

Ginny felt a knot form in her stomach as she finally met his eyes. They searched hers, a silent plea for understanding. With a deep breath, she nodded again. "Alright," she conceded. "We'll play nice for the cameras."

Draco's expression softened slightly, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. Was it just for the cameras? Or was there something more? They both knew that survival in the wilderness wasn't just about food and shelter. It was about trust, about finding common ground. And as much as she hated to admit it, she needed Draco as much as he needed her.

They spent the morning exploring the island, their wands at the ready. The magic here was indeed weak, and even the most basic spells took extra effort. They managed to catch a few fish with a poorly-aimed "Accio" charm and roasted them over the fire, the smell of cooking food filling the air. Draco's eyes never left her as she worked, and she couldn't help but feel a strange thrill under his gaze.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, the heat became unbearable. Their bodies glistened with sweat, and Ginny found it increasingly difficult to ignore the way Draco's muscles rippled as he moved. His earlier proposal of sharing body heat had left a lingering tension between them, and she couldn't help but wonder if it was all just for show.

"We should make a real shelter." Ginny said wanting anything to distract her from Dracos cock.

Draco nodded in agreement, standing up from their meal. "Let's find some suitable materials."

They ventured into the jungle, their wands in hand, searching for branches and palm fronds that could serve as a more substantial shelter from the elements. The sun bore down on their bare skin, leaving them sticky with sweat, and the occasional brush of a leaf against their bodies sent a shiver of anticipation through them both. The tension between them was a tangible ****, a silent dance of curiosity and unspoken desires.

As they worked together, gathering the materials, Ginny noticed the way Draco's muscles flexed with each movement, his skin glistening with perspiration. She tried to focus on the task at hand, but her thoughts kept drifting back to the feel of his body against hers the night before. Despite their tumultuous history, she couldn't deny that there was something undeniably alluring about him in this primitive state.

Their shelter took shape slowly, a testament to their combined efforts. The heat of the day grew more intense, and they took frequent breaks to quench their thirst from the small stream they had discovered. The cool water was a welcome relief, and they took turns splashing it over their bodies to cool down, the sight of each other's nakedness becoming less shocking and more... natural.

As the day wore on, their banter grew less ****, and they began to share stories of their lives before the challenge. Draco spoke of his time at Hogwarts, his complex relationship with his father, and his newfound respect for those who weren't born into privilege. Ginny listened, surprised at his openness and the depth she hadn't seen in him before. She found herself sharing tales of her large, boisterous family and the challenges of living in the shadow of her famous brothers.

By the time they had finished their shelter, the sun was beginning to dip below the horizon. They sat together on the sandy beach, watching the colors of the sky morph into a symphony of oranges and pinks. The fire crackled between them, a barrier of sorts, but the space felt less charged with the need to perform for the cameras.

"You know, Weasley," Draco said, his voice thoughtful. "I never took you for the outdoorsy type."

Ginny smirked. "What, you think all I do is shop and flirt?"

"Well, I wouldn't have pictured you catching dinner with your bare hands."

"You'd be surprised what a Weasley can do when motivated."

Their eyes met, and the air grew thick with something unspoken. Draco leaned in closer, his gaze dropping to her lips. Ginny felt her heart race, her breath catching in her throat. Was this really happening?

Without another word, Draco closed the distance between them, capturing her mouth in a kiss that was as unexpected as it was explosive. Ginny's body responded instinctively, melting into him, their bare skin pressing together. The kiss grew deeper, more urgent, as the last of the sun's rays kissed their intertwined bodies.

The cameras hovered around them, capturing every moment of their newfound intimacy. But for the first time since the challenge had begun, they didn't care about the audience. In that moment, it was just the two of them, lost in the wild and finding solace in each other's arms.
