She won't fail this time. Go out and kill him..

Picking up the phone, Shiki called to Mikiya. He picked up moments after, waiting no doubt.

"Shiki? It's rare that you'd call me. I've been trying to reach you. Where have you been?"

"I'm home, at my apartment." She said. "I... want to see you here."

"There? I'm not sure why or what reason, but I can come over there. I'll be over in a bit."

She hung up the phone. He's coming over soon. She's so happy. She'll soon be able to finish it. Finish what she had been unable to do for so long...

"Shiki?"

Mikiya opened the door, as he walked inside of her apartment. She had left it unlocked like she usually did, although he wasn't sure if she was home. The lights were off, and he couldn't see very well inside. Her window blinds were closed too. Taking a few steps in, he closed the door, as he looked around, surveying from the living room and turning towards the kit-

SHINK! THUD!

A figure in the dark rammed him up against the wall, as a sharp pain soon emanated from his chest. Looking down, he could see Shiki, her eyes... wild and unfocused, as she looks up at him.

"Ha.. ha.. ha... hnn.. die.."

"S-Shiki...?" Mikiya asks in dazed, painful confusion. He tries to reach out to hug her, unsure of what's happening, but he wants to comfort her. Instead, she withdraws the knife, and ends up stabbing him again. And again. And again. And again.

Shiki keeps stabbing, her knife impales his body multiple times. Once she's done, all that's left his her bloody knife, her body coated in his blood, and Mikiya's slumped over body against the wall, arms still reaching out, as his pale eyes gaze down at where Shiki just was.

It's over. She won't have to worry about him tying her down anymore. None of that matters anymore.

Leaving the scene, she doesn't take anything with her aside from her bloody knife. All that matters now is the thrill and pleasure that she seeks.
