Kolgrug was disappointed with their haul to say the least. "Ugghh, how do you live off these things?" he complained, tossing a handful of small berries into his mouth. "It would take forever to fill up on these."

"Here, try these," Emilia said, handing him a some slightly larger berries. "They are very nutritious and filling."

Kolgrug noticed that the elf couldn't quite meet his gaze as she placed them in his hand. Having dealt with imps, the most devious creatures on the planet, he could definitely tell when someone was hiding something. "What are these?" He asked, his eyes narrowing. "Are you trying to poison me?"

"N-no!" Emilia protested. She popped one in her mouth. "See? Perfectly harmless."

"Then what are they?"

"They are truthberries," the elf stated. "Anyone who eats them will have to answer every question truthfully for an hour after ingesting one."

"And why would you want to give me one?" Kolgrug asked, curiously.

"I wanted to ensure you weren't scouting out our forest for an orcish invasion," Emilia replied.

If he wanted to get the elf to trust him, there was no better opportunity. Kolgrug tossed a truthberry into his mouth. "I am alone and currently have no contact with any other orcs," he stated. "I mean your people no harm."

"Then what were you doing in our forest?"

"I was just taking a rest," Kolgrug answered truthfully. Then he bombarded the elf with questions before she could ask anymore of her own. She might not react well to knowing he was searching for a sex **** to have his babies. "Am I the first orc you have met?" he asked.

"Yes."

"And? What do you think?" Kolgrug approached her, flexing his huge biceps. "Am I a fine specimen?" He joked.

"To be fair, most orcs would have," Kolgrug admitted. "But I am not most orcs. Were you disappointed that I didn't?"
