She was too late

In the center of the circle stood a massive, horned figure. It was the demon they intended to summon. Sigui's mouth went dry as she realized she had arrived too late. The demon cults had already begun their demonic rituals. She clutched her holy symbol and prepared to fight.

As the demon worshippers noticed her presence, they let out a bloodcurdling scream, their eyes ablaze with unholy rage. They dropped their chants and charged at her, their fists raised, their teeth bared. Sigui met their attack with a fierce determination, swinging her staff with expert precision. She struck down the first of them, sending the robed figure flying through the air, their breath leaving their body in a rush. The others hesitated, their shock evident on their faces.

But they recovered quickly, launching themselves at her once more. Sigui fought with all her strength, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she struggled to maintain her focus. The battle raged around her, the sound of metal clashing against metal filling the air. Despite her best efforts, she could feel herself growing weaker with each passing moment. The demon in the center of the circle continued to stir, its eyes slowly opening, its massive form beginning to take shape.

As the last of the demon worshippers fell beneath her staff, Sigui collapsed to her knees, her breath coming in ragged gasps. The demon let out a roar of anger and pain, its eyes burning into her as it turned its attention toward her. Sigui could feel the heat emanating from its massive form as it stepped closer, its claws scraping against the ground. She knew that she needed to defeat the demon as she stood up!
