What's next?
She was somewhere in the Metaverse
The Phantom Thieves (or, more accurately, the females of the group) first became aware of the nightmare Kasumi Yoshizawa was caught up in one late afternoon on a seemingly normal school day. The team was presently basking in the victory over Okumura's Shadow and its endless waves of robotic fast food workers (still awaiting his change of heart and blissfully unaware it would immediately be followed his sudden and horrific ****). Futaba was sitting in her room, happily losing herself down the rabbit hole that was the internet. The rest of the Thieves were assembled outside the gates of their school, discussing whether to go their separate ways or make a side journey to the underground mall to shop for clothes. Fortunately for Kasumi, both Ren and Ryuji had gone dead eyed the moment shopping had been brought up and made hasty excuses for being elsewhere lest they be tricked into becoming packmules for the girls. Conversation came to an abrupt end as all four girls realized in the same moment that their phone was silently vibrating.
KASUMI: Hello? Senpais? Can you read this?
MAKOTO: Yes? Hello. This is Makoto Niijiima. May I ask who this is and how you obtained this number?
KASUMI: Ah, yes, of course, senpai! This is Kasumi Yoshizawa! I'm a first year at Shujin Academy. I was given your number by Amamiya Ren-Senpai.
FUTABA: Seriously, another one? I swear, Ren finds so many cute girls to add to the harem we might as well start a bingo game.
HARU: Harem? Oh my...
ANN: Wait, aren't you that girl we met in Hawaii? The superstar athlete?
KASUMI: Oh no, that's not true. Or, rather, we did meet in Hawaii and I am an athlete, but 'superstar' is going too far, Senpai.
ANN: But aren't you an olympic level or something crazy like that?
MAKOTO: Sorry to interrupt but what is it you wanted, Yoshizawa-san?
KASUMI: Oh! Yes! Right! I....
MAKOTO: Yoshizawa-san?
KASUMI: There's really not a good way to say this. I need the Phantom Thieves, Senpai!
MAKOTO: ....I see.
ANN: ......
FUTABA: Sigh. Here we go again....
MAKOTO: If you believe a group like that really exists, Yoshizawa-san, you should contact the Phansite to ask for help.
KASUMI: Senpai, please! I don't have time for that! I need your help now. Right now! I'm sorry, but this really, really can't wait!
MAKOTO: What makes you think we can help contact them?
FUTABA: Ha. Smooth, Queen. I'm sure she's buying it.
MAKOTO: Futaba!
FUTABA: Come on. She obviously knows. She's not even trying to be coy about it. You guys always dance around this part even when its obvious we've been found out. Why don't we just hear what she wants and get straight to it for a change?
ANN: It is pretty much the worst kept secret....
HARU: Agreed.
MAKOTO: I don't believe all of you! Fine. What do you want, Yoshizawa? I presume you plan to use your knowledge in order to black mail us into helping you?
KASUMI: What? No! I'd never do something like that, Senpai! What kind of awful person would that make me?
ANN: ....yeah, guys! What kind of awful person would that make her?
MAKOTO: .....
FUTABA: ......
HARU: I feel like I'm missing something...
MAKOTO: I said I was sorry for that.
FUTABA: It was your own fault for being loud and getting caught anyway.
ANN: Didn't we get caught by you because you had the cafe randomly bugged?
FUTABA: Heh heh. You never know who's listening, Panther. You should always be on your guard.
KASUMI: Ummm....Senpais?
FUTABA: Aren't you and I both first years? Quite it with the 'Senpai' stuff!
KASUMI: Oh! Sorry!
MAKOTO: ANYWAY! Kasumi-chan, what is it you want? If I understand the situation correctly, you know about the Metaverse and can use a Persona, correct?
KASUMI: Yes! I'm in the metaverse now, actually! That's...that's why I'm contacting you. I'm having a problem...
MAKOTO: ....all right? What kind of problem?
KASUMI: Its not something I can explain. It would be easier to show you. Can you all meet me in the Metaverse please?
MAKOTO: For someone who is in such a hurry this is awfully cryptic of you, Yoshizawa.
KASUMI: Senpai, please. I can't say it over the phone. I'll apologize as much as you want when we meet. I just need you to come here.
MAKOTO: ....all right. We'll contact Joker and-
KASUMI: NO!! Please, please, no! Not him! Don't tell the boys! Please! Especially not Ren-senpai! He can't see me like this!!!
MAKOTO: .......
HARU: ........
ANN: ........
FUTABA: Okay, I've got no idea what's going on, but if its that embarrassing I'm in! I gotta see what this is all about!
MAKOTO: Futaba, be quiet. Kasumi-chan...all right. Fine. Can you get to platform 7 in the Metaverse? Its the main line we all take to get to school.
KASUMI: Yes, I can get there. Thank you, Senpai! Oh, and…
MAKOTO: Yes?
KASUMI: Just one last, little thing. Could you please bring me a change of clothes?
Over the course of the next two hours the four persona users schemed and rendezvoused with one another. No amount of coaxing to pry more information from Kasumi, and thus they had little choice but to confront her directly. And so the four found themselves passing through the membrane between their world and Mementos, the familiar fluxations of red and black distorting the vision of reality all around them like a funhouse mirror. A moment later the four experienced the familiar “burst” of black and red material that seemed to suffuse the Metaverse like an oily sludge (‘liquid cognition’ Futaba had once called it, her best guess as to the nature of the stuff) and the four found their civilian clothes suddenly replaced by outlandish masks and costumes that were the hallmark of possessing a Persona. The shadows were thick in Mementos tonight, the air heavy with whispers and mocking laughter. The four girls proceeded down the maze of subway tracks and basalt pillars slowly, apprehension growing the further into the complex they went. None of them were prepared to trek any significant distance in this place, as the passages were long and easy to get turned around in and typically required navigation via motor vehicle (or a reasonable facsimile in the form of a transformed Morgana).
"Senpais! You came! Thank you so much!" Kasumi's voice called out from the darkness, audibly cracking with anxiety.
"Yoshizawa-san?" Makoto called, turning in the direction of the noise. "We're here. Where are you?"
The quartet of Lady Phantom Thieves exchanged worried glances as they peered into the black and red shadows of the otherwordly subway station. Kasumi Yoshizawa was as a rule a studiously, almost slavishly polite student who was ever mindful of her place in Japan's social hierarchy (especially when it came to showing respect for her highschool seniors) and besides had fear of burdening others. Contacting the group out of nowhere, begging for their help while insisting that the boys be left out of the loop, and now lingering in the shadows instead of meeting them directly? Something was seriously wrong with this picture, and they were growing increasingly nervous.
"D-do you have the spare clothes I asked about?" Kasumi asked, her usually calm voice a knot of anxiety and suppressed panic.
"Yes. We have them. Please come out and tell us what is going on!" Makoto said, assuming a tone of gentle steel she reserved when directing students as the council president.
"...I..." Kasumi gulped. "Y-yes, Senpai. I'm coming. You'll understand s-soon."
One could hear a pen drop as Kasumi's boots echoed on the cold concrete. As her lithe form slowly emerged from the darkness the assembled thieves let out a simultaneous gasp of shock. They knew from Joker's description of his previous encounter with the girl that she had obtained a Persona and as usual gained a strange costume along with it. Supposedly her outfit was an odd fusion of Joker's own costume (likely a result of the girl's odd fixation and reliance on the older boy) and her own career as a gymnast. The red head was typically dressed all in black, a billowing trenchcoat covering a thin body squeezed into a tight leotard and thigh high black boots. Her hair was typically tied back by a black ribbon into a long ponytail, a black and silver mask shaped into an intricate V pattern covered her face, an ebony choker rapped around her neck, and two bright red gloves broke up the color scheme. The costume was complete by a slender, intricately worked belt of silver metal loosely crossed the length of her hip, held in place by a metallic clasp lovingly sculpted into the shape of a rose, while on the opposite hip hung the scabbard for the saber she used as her primary weapon when combating shadows. And she was indeed sporting many aspects of the costume Joker had described. But as the phantom quartet rushed forward to meet her it was clear that something had gone very, very wrong along the way. Kasumi still had on her elegant black boots, her hair was still tied back by her ribbon, a choker still graced her throat and her belt still hung from her hip. But her mask was nowhere to be seen. But some strange transformation had taken place in the coat she wore. Oh, she still had the red gloves, and the stylish black leather covering her arms up to her shoulders seemed much the same, but the rest of the coat was tailored quite differently.
For one thing, the padding that ran along her neck and upper back seemed much tighter and thicker than compared to Joker's coat, tailored in such a way that Kasumi had to slightly arch her back and square her shoulders slightly that pushed her chest out in front of her. There was also less fabric in the overall design. The coat still had two rows of shiny metal buttons running down either side, but there was far less material in the design than before. The combined effect was that while Joker's coat served the purpose one might expect a master thief would desire (concealing his face swallowing up the distinctive features of his body type behind layers of dark leather) this version of Kasumi's coat did precisely the opposite. There was barely any neckline to speak of, ensuring her face was plainly visible. And far from giving her body concealment the tightness of the shoulders and the posture she was **** into were causing her upper torso to jut out more than usual. Her chest and breasts especially yawned out in front of her, the leathery coat bunching up on either side of her soft orbs and doing absolutely nothing to keep them hidden. In addition, the lower half of the coat seemed to have undergone its own alterations.
Normally Kasumi and Joker wore a garment that had three large 'tails' the drifted to their knees, keeping them in shadows and generally adding to the overall style and asthetic as the coat billowed in the wind (whether or not there was an actual breeze to billow in, oddly). Kasumi's coat now had one 'tail' missing entirely, the middle flap that served to conceal her back and rear end. Moreover, the two remaining tails had undergone a similar fate as the rest of the coat- the overall amount of fabric was reduced by almost two thirds, leaving them black leather sliver of their former selves. Oh, the coat did seem to retain some of the stylish grace it originally displayed, the tails still billowing in an unseen wind. But even that minor supernatural aspect of the costume seemed to have turned against the wishes of the wearer, as the tails seemed to deliberately 'billow' in a direction that left Kasumi's lower body eternally exposed.
These bizarre changes to her outerwear were particularly worthy of note important given the last, arguably most critical change to her Persona wardrobe. The young gymnast was no longer wearing a leotard underneath her coat. Indeed, aside from the thin metal belt and scabbard that was still fastened to her now bare hip, Kasumi Yoshizawa wasn't wearing anything at all. The star of Shujin Academy, expert gymnast and olympic hopeful was standing stiffly in front of four shocked and wide eyed highschool students, completely and utterly naked except for a handful of useless remnants of her costume, which only seemed to mock and emphasize her nudity. Her eyes were tightly closed, as if she could will away her shame and humiliation. There was a distinctive hue on her cheeks that was slowly spreading over the rest of her very naked body that was almost as crimson as her hair. The four phantom thieves gaped at the sight of their friend. And it was quite a sight. Kasumi prided herself on a strict regime of training and dieting, and the fruits of her labors showed plainly in the well sculpted curves and tight muscles along her thin form. But despite her religious schedule and routine, Kasumi was rather infamous in certain circles for her ravenous appetite. And the extra calories were clearly not all absorbed into her workout, as the overly large breasts that stood out all the more prominently on her especially thin body and the bouncy roundness to her butt cheeks made all too obvious in her current state.
The four girls had instinctively begun to encircle the embarrassed girl. Makoto drank in Kasumi's nudity with a vague sense of shock and approval, relieved to notice that her own body displayed some of the same musculature as the younger girl and indeed seemed to have even exceeded the athlete regarding her stomach abs. Ann was far more interested in tell tale way her nipples stood at attention and even as the four watched her clit was beginning to peak out between her folds. Haru smiled at the cleanly shaven space between her legs, a necessary habit for a dancer wearing a tight leotard (and a habit very difficult to break, as her own shaven area attested despite no longer practicing ballet). But in the end Futaba best summed up the situation.
"Wow. She's hot!" Oracle exclaimed, her jaw dropping at the sight of her naked classmate.
Ann gestured for her to be quiet, and Makoto emphasized the point with a sharp elbow to her side.
"Ow! Sorry! Watch the spikes, Queen!" Futaba squeeked, nursing her side.
"But I mean..she is…" Futuba said a moment later, this time using her telepathy. "Standing there all naked and embarrassed like that? She looks super hot! That’s just a fact!"
Makoto gave the younger girl a withering look and turned back towards Kasumi.
“Yoshizawa-san…” Makoto began, clearing her throat and trying to sound casual about the utterly bizarre situation they had stumbled into. “Why…why are you naked?"
“I…Its not what it looks like! I’m not a pervert! It’s the Shadows! They…they stole my name!” Kasumi squeeled in humiliation.
